We are RVers from Alabama. We were in search of a GOOD green chile cheeseburger while visiting Albuquerque. We most definitely found it here! From the moment we walked in, we knew we came to the right place. Great atmosphere; extremely clean environment. So enjoyed meeting and talking to the owners. Great folks. Great menu. I give the El Roi Cafe Five Stars!!!

Over here yesterday to try another place and saw El Roi. We decided to try something other than our usual fare, so we came back today. Ordering is done at the counter and food is delivered. Definitely a small restaurant with an industrial look. Our order consisted of the Indian Taco with Green Chile and Frybread Green Chile Cheeseburger. The taco arrived and looked delicious. I guess I won't be folding this one over. The ingredients were lightly seasoned and while the green chile was there it wasn't overpowering. The burger was also well seasoned with just the right amount of green chile. The only down side is drinks are sold by the can/bottles - be prepared. Both meals were excellent and deserve a return visit.

Tasty, well seasoned, New Mexican Native home cooked food. Good food portions. Well priced. All made from scratch. The service was great. Very kind and professional. Felt like visiting an old friend. They have 5 Star Fridays where you can book to take your date for some romance. Check them out!

Close to downtown at Lomas & 6th this new strip mall home to some of the best smelling and cooking I've tasted in a while for New Mexican cuisine. The smell is like walking into a family party with all the food ready to go. The red had my lips tingling, and I will definitely be back. Reasonable prices and great servings.

I only got a snap of the menu. I'm so upset about that, my fault. The Fry Bread Burger was so delicious! I really enjoyed walking in and how lovely/friendly the woman who took my order Marie was. She was very welcoming and suggested what to try. Overall the food was so delicious and the chiles w/fry bread & meat ...the combination was wow! So yummy. I believe the chef even came out there to ask how it was. Love the family vibe I got there

Found El Roi Cafe on yelp while driving through NM. Cute little place for breakfast or lunch. New Mexican and Native American cuisine. Both food and service were excellent.

Food is very good had the fabulous breakfast burrito. The red Chile is very flavorful and a little hot. My only thing is they should ask you if you want it smothered ! The coffee is great! I wish them success! I will be back! Until I have tried every item on the menu!

Everything we got here was unbelievable. The service was fantastic and extremely accommodating. The green chile salsa was uniquely delicious. Nothing was oversalted or under-spiced. We'll definitely be back!

This is the best Indian taco I've gotten off the reservation.
The juevos rancheros were outstanding! The green salsa was fantastic, but careful. It's a little spicy
