We are a step back in time, when you walk through our doors, you are walking into a Hobby Store of years past. We carry some of the most interesting products for all ages of people. From the young to the old, Artistic to Techie and all points in between. We have knowledgeable people available to help with questions, repairs, or training. We can provide instructors for Painting, Rockets, Drones, Free Flight and model building when requested for local organizations. We are here to support the community.

Went in looking for an airsoft battery, left with an RC car. Great service, very fair prices, and lots of knowledge. I will be returning.

I have the largest and most extensive Bandai & Gundam model selection until you get to the big box store of Hobby works in Rockville, MD. As our customers are aware, we receive new Gundam models every week from the distribution center and we special order and pre-order models for our customers. We also carry the largest selection of paint, paint markers, glues, and other modeling products than anyone else locally. The only time we are low on anything is when you just can't get it from the distributor. For instance most Bandai products have been out at Blue Fin for weeks. When the largest US distributor of Bandai is out, everyone is out unless it is not a main product line for them.

Love this place for several reasons- first, it reminds me of how business should be. The owners are knowledgeable about all of the products and helpful with suggestions. It's an engaging experience, which is so nice and what's missing in so many places that want more money for less service. The hands on chance to browse, touch, ask questions and learn is awesome. You can get a new hobby while shopping for a current one. Also, there's often a shop dog and I am a sucker for a shop dog!
It's a treat to go here and see what's new even if you don't need something. There's always something neat and inspiring. Not sure where to start? Ask. Primarily it has what I need and when I have any questions the owners are always really helpful and seem to know everything about every product (I hear them talking about other things with different customers). There must be 2,000 different possible hobbies at least in the store, even though it seems small at first. It's organized and they know where everything is if you don't. The store also reminds me of the past. You aren't rushed or pressured, questions are encouraged, chatting is great, there's often a store dog who is a sweetheart and it's a step back in time to when people had a minute for polite conversation about nice things like hobbies and the weather. It's a feel-good store that has a good selection of products, good prices and people who know what they're talking about and who enjoy talking about what they're selling. You'll want to come back before you're out of paint because it's a pleasant experience. You'll might even start a new hobby that'll be more fun to talk about than what you were going to talk about without it.

My kids can always find something affordable and my husbands eyes widen with the selection. We have bought great Christmas gifts and awesome adult hobby grade toys to do in any type of weather. The RC trucks in the snow! The best fun for the whole family!

I brought my two grandsons to this store to pick a surprise present. They loved it. They both picked out a model and the owners were so sweet. They took the extra time to give each one some tips for each of their models. It was a great place and my grandsons would have spent hours here if I hadn't bribed them with ice cream. They will definitely have my future business.
