Great vibe inside! My boyfriend got a haircut there and it was exactly what he was looking for and said it was very relaxing and the staff was friendly. I recommend if your looking for a full service cut with an experienced staff :)

Wonderful salon! I see Stephen and he is great. All of the stylists are friendly and the location is perfect for spending the day in Raleigh. The salon is next to Boxcar Arcade, The Pit BBQ, Crank Arm Brewery, and Black and White coffee.
I have a pixie haircut and Stephen is the best for that! The salon is clean, they carry awesome products. And best part, you can get a drink while you are hair or nails done.
1000% recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mary B.Severn, MD11152Apr 14, 2023
Nicole did a great job cutting my hair! She really listened to what I wanted and made sure I liked my haircut! All the stylists and employees were friendly and professional!

First time having my hair cut since living in Raleigh. Looking the most recommend hair salon near me and it suggested the Junction Salon & Bar. Reservation was easy to make and you can pick your stylist with different price for each stylist. Kind of tricky when i arrived because it's in the corner. Coming inside and you can see the Bar in the middle. I don't drink so i skip it, but sure they have full bar to serve such as wine and cocktails. I asked my stylist to cut my hair short and she did a great job! Ending with curl my hair little bit and i love it! I even think to curl my hair permanently because it's so cute. Her name was Carly by the way. Sure will come here again next time ^^

The Junction squeezed me and a friend in for a last minute blowout for a wedding we were attending in Raleigh. They were extremely accommodating with our schedule. The place is really cool & they have a full bar! My stylist Kelly was great!

Very rude customer service.
Called today to simply ask about the next available appointment time for a pedicure and got this response, word-for-word:
Associate: "No, we're booked today..."
Me: "Okay, no problem! When is your next available appointment?"
Associate: "Mm, probably won't be for a while...we're booked all next week."
Who taught this staff to speak to potential customers on the phone?! I understand if they don't have an opening but at least be professional about it.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alisha L.Raleigh, NC132917Sep 27, 2021
So I used to go here for myself and both kids before COVID and I loved it. Now I don't think I will be returning, which is a shame because it had nothing to do with the hairdresser. Let me start with the the most relevant to anyone else who is looking at making an appointment and go onto my reason for making it a point to find another salon...
1. You might as well go to Fantastic Sams or or "Cheap" Cuts because you can probably get the same services for less. If you are a hairdresser there, read on before you get angry. The hairdressers get paid commission so they don't really get that much for what they do. The salon benefits more than they do. You should look for a salon where the hairdressers rent their station because they will stay around longer. I have had 3 different stylists and this time makes 4. Then there was one other that did not do even close to a professional job on my daughter's hair and I had to get someone else to fix it. It's hard to find a good hairstylist and when you find one you like, you want to stick with him/her.
2. They just recently switched to paid parking. I didn't know and I parked as soon as I pulled in and didn't realize that I needed to pay for parking (because I had never needed to before). When I can out an hour and a half later I had a ticket for $28 posted to my windshield. When I went in to ask the salon they told me to enter the parking info, pay it, have it validated (so my cost to park would be $0), and then dispute it with the parking company. So I did this and they said that I still need to pay it. I can prove I was there for less than the 2 hours, they had about 10 cars in the entire lot, but they are making me pay $28 for parking that would have cost me $0. I realize that won't happen again because I am aware of the parking situation now, but out of principle I will not go back. That's not how you treat customers you are supposed to value.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Miriam D.Lake Waccamaw, NC03121Sep 29, 2021
I had a good first experience and I decided to revisited for some hair color. I booked almost 3 weeks prior, paid the $50 deposit to hold my appointment, then I show up on time. They did not have my appointment in the system nor any record I paid or booked. No one was available to help me either. The reason was they "switched booking systems" however, it is THEIR responsibility as a business to move appointments and contacts. It is THEIR responsibility to make sure they correct any system problems.
I had been waiting for weeks and I was already very anxious about coloring my hair. Huge mistake, and I'm incredibly disappointed. It was already a big step for me to trust someone with my hair.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lila R.San Francisco, CA01Sep 23, 2021
I had a hair appointment scheduled at noon, and mind you I arrived right on time. As soon as I walked in, the receptionist was attentive and informed me, that the stylist was still working on another client. After 25 mins go by, I still was waiting to be taken care of, so at that point I left. I then received a text asking where I went, and I informed them that no one came to service me. The person on the other line responded that my hairdresser actually had other engagements, even though I was able to book a slot with her six weeks prior. They then tried to compensate the issue by offering a discount. Don't offer your services if you won't be available to accommodate.

Booked an appointment, walked in the heat to their salon only to be told that my appointment was no good and the nail technician wasn't in. Even tho I literally see him across the room working with someone. Also decides to take a 5-10 min customer call and book their appointment while I wait in front of the guy. I would NEVER go to this place unless my skin completion was way lighter.
