Came here for a birthday dinner and it was fantastic!
The ambiance was absolutely lovely for a date night.
      For drinks, we got the:
Pomegranate Margarita - a little more salty than I was expecting. If you like a sweeter drink, maybe pass on this one
Spiced Corazón - my partner ordered and said it was very spicy and delicious
Le Papillon - I ordered this after requesting a sweet drink and it was still only mildly sweet
Toki Highball - I tried my partner's drink and surprisingly the sweetest drink of them all. Very tasty and I'm not a whisky person.

      Food:
We ordered the Housemade Parker Rolls as an appetizer and they were SO good. Highly recommend.

Organic Chicken - my partner ordered this and it was absolutely delicious. The skin was very well seasoned and the chicken was perfectly cooked. It also came with a dipping sauce that was similar to mole and it was great.

Filet Mignon - SO DELICIOUS. An absolute must-try. Definitely one of the best filet mignon dishes I've ever had.

Finally tried out this spot after being on the list for a while and it was solid all around but something was missing.

First of all the service was great. We came really early and they seated us anyway with no issues. Our server was attentive but there was a mild lack of warmth and charm.

The ambience was overall very rustic and charming but the tables were slightly close together and so I felt a little bit uncomfortable with the other guests so close to me- even to get up and go to the restroom.

The cocktails were solid. I found it interesting they were heavy on the tequila and tequila based drinks when the cuisine was more European. The wine was solid too. But nothing was special.

As for the food everything was prepared well and presented beautifully. We enjoyed everything but nothing stood out. The oysters had an interesting sauce that was unique but almost too sweet. We had the lamb and ribeye which were both very good and cooked perfectly. The desserts were excellent- passion fruit cheesecake and lava cake. Probably my favorite part.

So again, worth a try, everything is overall good but I can't quite pinpoint what is missing about this place but not sure I'm super eager to return despite being satisfied overall.

Came here for my birthday dinner with my husband. The food was great. I ordered the filet mignon and the wine reduction and potato pave was delicious. The filet was good, although I can say it was not the best cooked filet I have eaten. But the reduction and potatoes made it come together quite well.

My husband ordered the lamb chops and it tasted really great. Not gamey at all.

My waitress and the servers were top notch.

The drink I ordered was pretty good. The ambiance was nice, it is beautiful inside although it was really crowded and a lot louder than I expected for a cozy date night. All in all I would return, maybe on a less busy night. ( I went on Saturday)

The drinks and the ambiance were great, but I was a little disappointed with the entrees and starters.

For the entree, my group ordered sea bass, uni pasta, filet mignon, and king mushroom rice. Seabass and king mushroom was good. But I've had way better filet mignon and uni pasta in other restaurants. But, the filet mignon dish did come with potato pave that was delicious.

For the appetizer/starters we got the piri piri shrimp, charcuterie board, and the oysters. It was my first time trying the king mushroom rice and that one was delicious. The piri piri shrimp was delicious too. The oysters were fresh but thought the topping was just ok. Lastly, the charcuterie board did not include cheese which was disappointing. But their drinks were delicious, we got the pomegranate margarita, cucumber martini, and mario.

Service could we way better. Our waiter did not know much about the dishes nor drinks, which didn't help when we asked for recommendations. And we were not given much attention throughout the night. The host asked us to leave soon as there were another party after. Though she asked politely, a restaurant like this usually doesn't have time limit.

Valet was $12 which is normal to be. Otherwise, there is street/meter parking around.

Overall, it was an ok restaurant. The ambiance and company made it worth it. But the dishes and service could be better.

The little door.. the greatly anticipated rOmAnTiC restaurant.

I had a Valentine's Day reservation. It was a $122 deposit that went towards the bill of the night. It was an additional $330 for the dinner including 1 alcoholic beverage and included gratuity. So around $452 or so in total for a Valentine's Day dinner here for 2.

The service was absolutely superb, you never had to fill your own water, they were on top of it. The waiter I believe was Sam, I could totally be wrong, but it was an older gentleman who was extremely nice and courteous.

The ambiance was everything I imagined. It was absolutely screaming romanticism. They had fresh rose petals on the table with roses also hanging upside down on vines from the ceiling by the entrance. It was honestly VEERRYYY dreamy.

The menu itself was a 3 course you chose one item from each category. Every dish was amazing. It was absolutely delicious and I have no complaints. Everything tasted so fresh, the presentation was absolutely gorgeous to the eye, even in dim lighting. I was enjoying the experience to really take photos of the food honestly.

The only thing that had surprised me was one of the plates had chips all around the perimeter of it. You'd think for such an expensive restaurant they could provide intact dishes to serve on.

The Little Door restaurant is a true hidden gem nestled in the city. While parking might be a tad tricky, the convenience of valet and the possibility of street parking ease any worries. Once inside, prepare to be enchanted by the restaurant's beautiful ambiance. Whether it's a romantic date night or a fun evening with friends, this place sets the perfect tone.

Now, let's talk about the real stars of the show - the food and service. Both were exceptional. Every dish we tried was a culinary delight, bursting with flavors and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive, friendly, and added to the overall wonderful experience.

In conclusion, The Little Door is a must-visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. It's where great food, impeccable service, and a charming atmosphere come together seamlessly.

      Food: 3/5
The food started off really strong but then we enjoyed our dishes less and less as it went on. We started off with the Parker rolls which were extremely delicious and airy with the butter. The cheese board was also good but we did wish there was more bread with it. Then we had our entrees which were the sea bass and the king mushroom rice. The sea bass itself was amazing and cooked perfectly (I would order it again) but the sauce was a little salty. The rice was a little heavy and creamy and cheesy which while we usually enjoy, because we ordered a lot of cheese dishes before, it was too much for us. The mushrooms were also kinda bland and the dish overall while solid, could've used more vegetables. After, we had the broccoli which we did not enjoy at all. It tasted extremely bitter and unseasoned. Would not recommend. For dessert, we had the matcha miso which was not good. While the texture of the matcha cake was good, we did not like the taste of the dessert. The matcha flavor was not there and was overpowered by the miso. Overall, I would come again but be more careful with what I order.

      Service: 4/5
Standard service, a little slow but that's because the restaurant was busy. Food does take a while.

      Ambiance: 5/5
It's so beautiful. The hype around the beauty of this place is definitely worth. If you love restaurants with pretty interior and a good seat no matter where you are, this is the place.

Our dinner for two here was beyond fantastic.

To start, the bread was just rich perfection. The Parker Roll is a must to share. Think Hawaiian rolls with extra butter and light cheesy goodness.

The Hamachi Crudo was served in a bowl, LOL, but the sauce and garnishes were heavenly. The hamachi seemed hidden in the bite, given how much is featured in this dish, but not missed in the least.

The Steak Tartare, for those who appreciate it, is also a must. It's a little on the salty side, overall, but understandably and wonderfully so.

The Salmon Entree with Saffron Potatoes is noticeable on the saffron seasoning, but a good complement to the salmon and greens. Blend the flavors for a mouthful of pleasure.

We were celebrating a birthday, which entails a contemporary bread pudding dessert here. Yum yum yum.

Service was efficient and polite. We were by the kitchen and restrooms, and there was no shortage of support.

This is a cute, intimate environment for a celebratory dinner. I am curious to experience this place during lunch, but will be back soon for dinner.

This restaurant is great for date nights, special occasions, or even a friend's night out. I love the twinkle lights and the greenery, which gives the space a more intimate and ethereal vibe. Our server was prompt, informative, and overall very friendly. However, the standout for us was definitely the food.

We ordered the mussels, octopus, rack of lamb, mushroom rice, the fudge lava cake, and the Moroccan tea, and all of the dishes were awesome. My personal favorite was the mussels appetizer, the flavoring was just the right amount, and it had nice curry-like flavors to it. The mussels themselves were also made just right.

We were full halfway through our entrees when we realized we were so full already. Decided to pack the rest of dinner for home, and just finish it off with dessert and tea. Everything was great and the prices were very affordable for the combination of ambiance and quality of food.

The only complaint about this experience was the to-go. Someone came by and packed the rest of our entrees, but they forgot to box up the potatoes puree...which I was actually looking forward to, so that was a bit of a disappointment. Next time I go, I'll just ask to box on my own.

What a truly amazing memorable dining experience!

The atmosphere is whimsical with a sweet character and charm. The host Raz was very funny and his energy set the night off on a high note. Right away, we were greeted by our beautiful and caring server, Lilith. She was super helpful, guiding us through the menu - deciding on the curry mussels, rolls, and filet.

      - BEST MUSSELS IN MY LIFE - the crispy onion and crispy chickpeas, were the perfect complement to the rich, savory broth. Also pro tip: dip your rolls into the broth! I don't order steak a lot at restaurants, but the filet mignon was cooked perfectly, and the truffle flavor with the dish was complementary, not overbearing like some truffle dishes.

I was too full for dessert but definitely looking forward to coming back to try more things and recommending to all my friends.
