The Mail Shoppe is awesome and so convenient close to my home. Big thanks to the friendly staff for always being there for all my printing, copying, shipping, visa photos, faxing needs (yep, some government offices still want you to fax documents to them...crazy right?!)

They mail things and are friendly. They have boxes cards wrap and labels. Honestly if you need to send a letter it's fine but if you want a mailbox the old vintage style of the boxes is so quaint.

      Do not go here!

I called over the phone to see if they print/pack and accept DHL account numbers they said "yes".

Once I arrived the guy at the counter tried to deter me from shipping saying "DHL is expensive and people think they are cheaper than UPS & FedEx but they are not".

After unloading my second load of boxes and I went to give him my account number he then tells me they don't accept accounts with a "whatever" attitude.

He then directed me to FedEx and I told him "as stated before I'm using DHL for these shipments".

I then asked was he the guy on the phone and he tried to act like it was someone else when clearly it was him. I knew his voice and his lack of understanding and competence matched the guy on the phone.

DO NOT GO HERE! It's worthless, they are rude, they don't care, they tell you anything to get you in there for a buck, and they have bad comprehension. This is definitely not a place you want to leave your items. I will be calling DHL to file a formal complaint as well.

It looks like they changed the name but the service SUCKS all around.

The Asian guy is the one who I'm speaking of.

I like them because it's easy to walk to from my apartment and I hadn't had any issues. However, recently I went to drop off 4 pre-paid USPS packages that I had already packaged & put the label on - it was just more convenient to drop them off there than the post office. The owner, who has been pleasant before, accepted them but said harshly that next time I need to take them to the post office. He didn't elaborate and I left a bit confused. I know that they probably didn't make any money off my packages (because I didn't buy anything from them) but I've never encountered a mail shop that didn't let people drop off pre-paid packages. Probably won't go back unless I'm in a time crunch, it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

This store gets the job done, everyone is efficient, and polite. What more does anybody expect out of a small shop? The service is consistently prompt, efficient, and the owners really do a good job of making sure the customers in the small store have a limited wait time so the store is not overly crowded.
We need more small businesses like this. Thank you for always taking great care of my packages too.

I never thought I'd leave a review for a business like this, but the people who run this place are easily the nicest shopkeepers in the entire area. Please, PLEASE give them your business. I came here because I actually went to FedEx first, but it was clear they didn't want my business ("It's all online" is the same to me as "Go fuck yourself"). I needed help sending out my passport renewal and the gentleman was super patient with me and extremely professional. Definitely recommend this place for any postal & shipping needs, including passport photos

      STEAL YOUR PACKAGES!!!!!!!!!

THIS place stole my packages. After weeks of realizing
My packages were never scanned into The system, and I didn't receive my Refunds I called and they told me too bad. Call usps. REALLY! SUCH BS. The fact they didn't even get scanned in means they never handed my packages over to the delivery people. I will never trust
This place again. Also they have a huge open pile in the store in the corner where they throw packages and anyone can just walk right up and steal them.

I love this place! I have had a mailbox here for many years and the staff is super nice and helpful. They forwarded me my mail when I was unexpectedly out of town for a long time and I always send my packages here so I know they are safe.

Prices were raised on my mailbox once, but it was a marginal increase and they gave me ample notice.

They also sell a bunch of cute stickers and I brought my friend here to do her passport photos!

p.s. I feel like some of these other reviews might be thinking of the wrong place? There is another mail shop down the street that I haven't had great experiences with and I'm wondering if people are mixing these two up.

I know Ted and Lily, the owners of this shop very well, so reading the bad reviews is super upsetting to me. They are the hardest working people I know. They may not be warm and fuzzy all the time, but they are excellent at their jobs and they are responsive and helpful. They go above and beyond for their customers. I've heard so many people yell at them for the high prices of shipping, and yet they continue to do their jobs no matter what. And they ship all of my jewelry for my business and THEY DO NOT STEAL PACKAGES!!!! EVER! they are incredibly honest, good people.
