Its the consistency that brings me back! Reasons why I love it here
- variety: from chrome to cat eye to powder theres plenty to choose from. I appreciate that!
- vibe: clean; top 40 playlist. All modern equipment & each tech has their own supplies.
- techniques: i've come in each time with different design asks & they get as close as possible to the reference photo
Pricing is moderate - my nails last a while (gel x). I personally go to Erik, Ryan or Kim
I wish they posted more on instagram to fully showcase their talent.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Armaine D.Washington, DC71122Feb 20, 2024
I used to love this Salon and I was going to Kim for SNS Dip manicures for almost a year. The salon itself is beautiful but my opinions changed last weekend.
I was excited to bring my mom to this salon from visiting from out of town and brought her in for a SNS manicure and pedicure. Her pedicure was the worst thing she's ever experienced. She told me the gentleman doing her nails didn't even know how to correctly use a nail cutter (it's not even difficult) or a nipper. He couldn't cut the nail, clean or file correctly. What is the point of a pedicure if the tech can't even cut the nail?
She was left with a crappy pedicure with mis shaped nails. She asked if it was his first day he responded yes, but he's worked elsewhere which is hard to believe. My mom has probably had over 200 pedicures in her life and she's never experienced anything like that. It's ridiculous that they charge full price for awful service from someone who was not properly trained.
I decided to speak up for her as we left the salon and they had no response to my words. They proceeded with a call back and tried to tell me the "misunderstanding" was that they don't do ingrown. My mom understands thats the case, but that does not have anything to do with cutting the nail and receiving a decent service. The proceeded to follow up with a text and let me know she can come back for another pedicure but no refunds.
I told them we want nothing to do with the salon, who would want to go back somewhere they charge you full price for a shitty entry level service!

Hello Armaine,
I’m sorry for your mom’s experience. I will respond to some points that you mentioned.
First of all, your mom told you that the technician who did her pedicure was on his first day at our salon, but he had worked at elsewhere salon before. Yes, she was right, and if you didn’t believe it, that’s okay. Whether to believe it or not is your choice. However, he is a new employee, it doesn’t mean he is not allowed to work. He still followed all the steps of basic pedicure ($35), spent enough time, and applied the colors correctly.
If your mom didn’t accept the new employee, why didn’t she tell us? If she had politely informed us, we would have assigned another technician. We don’t know who is willing to give the new technician a chance and who may have difficulties.
Secondly, you mentioned that no one responded to you after you raised concerns about your mom’s experience. You were not present for the entire process with your mom. She didn’t express any dissatisfaction before leaving. Then, 15 minutes after she left, you came in and raised your voice at the front desk. We were confused by your sudden outburst and then you left without waiting for the receptionist to inquire about the issue. We didn’t know who you were until Kim mentioned that you were talking about your mom’s pedicure. That’s why we had to call you back to understand the situation. Then, you raised your voice at our receptionist so rudely, You threatened to tell everyone if we didn’t refund your money. We asked if your mom was unsatisfied and offered to fix it but you chose not to return. I just mentioned one more time “we love to fix the issue in 5days, but NO REFUND “
I hope you can find a better salon. - Katie A.Collegeville, PA11514Mar 22, 2024
I have been coming to the Nail Bar for about a year & will continue to return.
The Nail Bar is one of the only locations in Arlington to do Hard Gel & to do it well. They work quickly and efficiently to make sure I leave happy each time regardless of if I am getting a simple color or a complicated design.
I LOVE that I am able to book through text and do not have to call. The nail artists are friendly, the location is bright, clean, and well decorated.

I came to Nail Bar Arlington with a friend to get a gel manicure (she got a dip manicure). The staff were really accommodating in letting us sit together even though it was a busy night (shout out to the girl who was so kind to move her seat so we could sit together)! The salon was very clean and organized which is always good to see. No complaints at all about the manicure or the process, everything was great and as I expected. The color is pretty, a little bit different than on the tester (it seemed a little bit more black/blue than black/gray) but overall really happy with the manicure. The price was $42 before tip, so a little higher than other salons I've been to for gel manicures which are usually around $36-$38.

I love coming to The Nail Bar! I have been coming here for over two years and I never go anywhere else because I trust they will do the best job. Tammi always does my dip perfectly and is so nice to fix them if I accidentally mess one up on the first day which I usually do because I'm clumsy. Vi gives me the most awesome pedicure I have ever had and I always pay a little extra for a longer massage because she is the best!

I'd been going to the same salon for years but my tech was out of town and I needed to get a mani. My friend set an appointment for me and wow , the experience was phenomenal. I did holiday nails and it came out great!!! And the their holiday decorations were sooo cute. Def worth the try if you're looking for a new nail home.

Very disappointed, I got my nails done Friday and by Monday I had 5 nails chipped, I let them
Know what happened and they nice said come next day and I did. I told them I wasn't very happy becuase paying 80$ plus tip that was 20$ and their product that they use was bad. So
They did 5 nails and even tho I told them all of
Them need to be fix I got only 5 fix. For a nude color and Crome 80$ and two days off get back.. long history short I had the worst I ever could ever had when I ask for a deep mani. I got nails chipped and other nice. Honesty don't go to this place. Whatever their use it's so bad that not even your natural nail will chipped but their material will. Definitely don't to to this place. More to follow on my X and YouTube!! 0/5 I give one start BECUASE I had to! Other wise zero! I'mHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2
