The Original Frameless Shower Doors

Tom (Sales) and Steve (Support) were terrific to work with and patient as we worked through the selection and install process. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and had a lot of questions before the installation. The whole process is well baked and my tiler and I were both impressed with the fit an finish as we installed them. I couldn't be more pleased with the resulting two installations.

I would use them again in a heartbeat. Excellent quality, good price.

So, found out about this place through Floor & Décor, which just newly opened a store near me, in West Covina.

After finishing up my remodeling job on one of my bathrooms, I was slightly hesitant on using this company, mainly because they were based in FL., and assumed that this was going to cost more for shipping and dealing with third party installers, and so on, but much to my surprise, getting estimates from local shower door companies, Original Frameless was actually cheaper, so I went with them.

Dealing with them is all through phone, texts and emails, and everything went pretty smoothly, apparently they do deal with contracting out the glass makers and installers, where ever they're from, it was the cheaper estimate that I got and everybody involved did a fantastic job, I would definitely use them again for my next remodeling job.

If you're going for the quality and elegance a frameless shower door requires and communication from a company that prioritizes the customer- PLEASE RECONSIDER. It took 7 trips from installers over two months and countless phone calls to facilitate installation that should have been done in one!

Delay 1 the panel was scratched on arrival to install and needed to be removed/recut and one of the panel measurements was wrong.

Delay 2 (5 days after original install date- the silicone application was so sloppy and full of air bubbles we needed 2 trips for a lead installer to come out and acknowledge this is the "worst job he's seen."

He later returned and painstakingly had to scrape the silicone off with 40+ razor blades to facilitate install. When we were able to open the door 24+ hours later- the hardware was all discolored from prior installation job. When I spoke to install manager and asked if he wanted photos he said no we will just get it all. Scheduled appointment for the following week.

Delay Received a call from Installer the day they were supposed to be here to correct hardware and he requested photos of hardware needed and delayed the installation again because they didnt have the hardware.

Delay4 they came to replace the hardware again and they did not have all the right pieces. 2 brackets were the incorrect shape.

A credit was requested and $150 offered, which considering above was not meaningful (this was upwards of 4k job) Jonathan stated he would order a new set of hardware "as they sit on the shelf for a while and that can happen" which doesn't account for the fact that all these concerns are being recognized after install and left to be acceptable.

Delay 4 the promised credit still had not been received 3 months later and attempts were made to contact the CEO, who called back, but didn't make it a priority to address.

Thankfully, no damage was done to our new bathroom remodel with installations but the inattention to detail and customer relations is the reason I would not recommend or use this company to do our other bathrooms. It's not worth it if you spend so much to then have this be the finishing touch that has all the potential to be 'tarnished.

I ordered and paid my deposit of $800 3-weeks ago. I was promised a 2-week turn around. Delays happen, but my dissatisfaction on this occasion comes 90% from the lack of customer service I've received. No one has reached out to me with a status update. I have called the only number I have (3 times) and my point of contact has been glib and condescending. He gave me quite a peculiar "parrot" speech about how he should be replaced by a parrot because all he does is repeat himself to customers. He said this to me, a customer, with no self awareness that it could be insulting. He was shocked when I provided negative feedback and said he'd given that talk hundreds of times - which only compuonded my irritation. On our latest call today he started the conversation with "do you want to cancel your order, Jonny?"

Yelp! is the only place I can find reviews for this company. They have a somewhat large online presence, so the lack of accessible reviews is a big red flag. Their Facebook page has no reviews. They pay for Google Ads but don't have a Google Business Page active (!). They have a partnership with Floor & Decor, which is how I found them, and my view of that company has declined as a result of this experience.

Apparently the delay is because of hardware, which is on back order. Customer service confirmed they'd have what they need by next week. At this, I had them confirm the door would be installed by Aug 4 at the latest. I will be back to write an update then and to probably vent about more dissatisfaction.

A google search of the owners name {John Serino} was very helpful in our assessment on whether to purchase .

We had a pretty significant renovation going on at our house due to some pipe leaks and decided to do some upgrades while we were at it. Instead of hiring one company or GC to coordinate everything, I hired each of the different trades separately which wasn't the most fun process to go through.

However, out of all of the contractors we used, the team at The Original Frameless Shower Doors (TOFSD) was one of the best. We got a quote from multiple companies to replace some bathroom mirrors and to install a frameless shower door in the master bathroom.

TOFSD gave the best quote out of the bunch, and we heard great things about them from other contractors and at various Tile Stores. The Salesman, Justin Jay Gauer, that came out and measured everything recommended for us to place the order as soon as possible as it takes some time to fabricate and install everything.

After they came to measure, we actually decided to have the Tile guy redo some work, so we asked them to come back out and measure before we went forward with placing the order. They came back out without a problem and got everything taken care of.

After placing the order we did call a few times to check on the status of the project and to get an ETA, however the answers seemed to change, but after a couple of weeks and a rescheduling, we get everything installed.

The installers were friendly and kept everything clean neat. Hopefully I won't have to go through a renovation project again, however if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to use TOFSD again.

I could not be more pleased with my Frameless Shower Doors. I wasn't thrilled with the estimates, I was getting on Shower doors for our master bathroom update, until I happened on a Frameless display at Floor and Decor. Once in contact them every thing went right. The price, the quality and the look were all I was looking for to complete my project. The best was yet to come when they were delivered in great shape and my dubious contractor was able to install them in about two hours all by himself. He was not only impressed with the quality and look, but more so by the shipping pack and that everything he needed for installation was included in the package. He was so impressed that he has specified Frameless Shower Doors for all his upcoming remodels.

We ordered a very tall sliding shower. We were working on a shower renovation during COVID and wanted a truly 100% contactless option for our DIY job.

Ordering: selecting and ordering went really well. I knew what style I wanted when I called as well as a rough size. Donna was great to answer my questions and gave me an estimated cost based on my approximate sizes. Then we all had to wait for us to finish putting in the finally shower walls which took forever due to other supply delays. However, my quote still held.

Purchase: when we were ready to purchase their measuring video and worksheet were very easy to follow and we measured. Donna talked with me about handle height and adjustments to style because of the narrow size of our opening. Our quote went up a little because we decided we wanted very tall glass which meant shipping in a wood crate. Overall, the price increase I thought was extremely reasonable. I expected it to be outrageous. It wasn't.

Once we ordered it seemed like fabrication went pretty quickly. I really appreciated that the people cutting my glass called me directly when he had a question. He wanted to talk about adjusting our handle height based on our shower style and wanted to make sure we weren't tall individuals first. His recommendation turned out to be perfect.

Shipping: it took a little over a week to arrive once I got the shipping notice, but that is to be expected coming across the country and having to be handed off to a second shipper to make it down our dead end street. Unloading was unique because we had to slide it into the back of a truck because of the type of truck we had to have due to our street, but we are always open to an adventure. I was super impressed by how this thing was packaged! It wasn't going anywhere and it took us quite a long time to get the crate open so we could get the glass out. Pretty sure they used an entire box of screws to secure that thing. It meant that our shower arrived in flawless condition though with all the hardware and everything we needed to install.

DIY installation was pretty straightforward, but it does take at least two people. Once in, the shower looked amazing. The only issue was whoever cut the metal bar at the top cut it a little too long. Thankfully we have the tools to cut metal bars, so we just fixed the issue ourselves.

We plan to order again for our master bathroom. Highly recommend if you are looking for a custom DIY job. The price was about double what we could have gotten at Lowe's but those were only 74" tall and with 9 foot ceilings we really wanted 88" tall. Well worth it in the end.

We purchased a large shower glass panel and could not be happier with the end result. The team from Frameless were simple to work with throughout the entire process.

I sent the measurements for my newly remodeled bathroom and I got a quick response from Mr Cannon, gave me a price for everything, material and installation, I liked the price and I wanted to move forward, so he asked me for my address and credit card number, I asked For him to first send me a formal proposal or a contract with the specifics and scope of work, so he told me that I needed to give him my credit card information first and then he will email me the contract, I said I do not do business that way so he answer he could not help me if I didn't give him my information so I thanked him and hang up.
It didn't sit well with me the way he conducted the conversation, he told me that he does business with thousands of people and they are always satisfied, I have one word BEWARE!
