Awesome spot for a quick drink, a snack, or even some nostalgia with a game of pinball or Pac-Man.
They have Galaga and donkey Kong also
Connected to a hotel and near a casino. Close to the e street trolley stop

I had some of the best coffee here! I was staying at the hotel for a night and carefully chose this hotel because of the cafe! I needed a place to work and caffeinate and the Rambler stood out for its great reviews. I was one of the first customers there and took a look at the menu for a bit. I opted for a cold brew with brown butter toffee and half and half. This was ever so delicious and I could not put my cup down. The cafe area was clean, had a few arcade games, and had an ample amount of room for coworking. Since I was staying on the property, I was given a discount on my bill!

Got the Jalapeño Cheese Bagel sandwich with cream cheese and also a croissant sandwich with cream cheese. Very good! Also got a shot of espresso over ice with two pumps of caramel and some half and half on the side. The drink was very caramel rich, as if they might have used actual caramel instead of the syrups. It was all good.

Came to try a new place to do homework. Rambler is a cute place! Lots and lots of seating options. Indoor and outdoor. It's definitely more than just a coffee shop. It's a great place for a quick breakfast and coffee and also a late night hang out place or perfect for a fun date night. They have coffee, smoothies, breakfast/lunch food and late nights snackies. They also have a large variety of other snacks to purchase, drinks and even cup of noodle too. They are also a part of the rambler motel. They have at least 9 different atacare games to play with. As well as retro seating options. They also have a nice little view of the San Diego bay. I got the latte with brown sugar toffee syrup. It was alright. I wish they didn't just have 16&20 Oz sizes. Sometimes thag can be too much. But hey! That's just personal preference. I didn't get much of a brown sugar toffee flavor... but it was a decent latter! I also got their avocado toast. It was tasty! They had three bread options, which was great. But it was a simple, avocado toast with tomato! Not too salty, simple and delicious just how it should be! Can't complain about that! Service was friendly and helpful. Would def come back again, but probably at night to play the arcade games and try their nighttime snacks. Also, they close at 8pm. So can't be too late night!

Plugs at every table that have two regular plug ins and two usb options.
Perfect size table suitable for 2-3 people to comfortably work on things. It's quiet and clean in here
They offer coffee, food, Wi-Fi, tall spacious tables with plug ins and also the chairs are nice
It's a good place to get work done.
Coffee is decent. I think the cold brew is better than the drip coffee but my partner believes it's the other way around
Plus the views/ location are a refreshing change from a coffee shop in the city with small tablesHelpful 4Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kelli W.Santa Clarita, CA593815Jun 7, 2023
What a cute little gem. We found this motel on Hotels.com and we loved it. This cafe has vintage arcade games and pinball. The food is cheap and tasty. The staff is so nice. My only complaint is they ran out of food by the time we got there but it' was still 5 stars and we will be back!

I was exploring the area with my wife after visiting the marina and came across Rambler Coffee. The colors and style of the Rambler Motel caught our attention and when my wife saw they had a coffee shop, she was very intrigued so we headed over.
Once inside, the place seemed very clean. The young woman behind the counter was very nice and made our drinks well. Other than coffee, there's a fridge area with a good selection of snacks. Also, a freezer with American and Mexican ice cream favorites. There's a little arcade area of retro games and an amazing wall art of a license plate.
The place looks well maintained inside and out. There's a pool outside but I didn't take pictures because people were swimming and didn't want to enter creeper status. We would definitely come back for coffee if in the area again.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1
