The River Provisioning

One of my favorite places on earth. The owner is hands on involved in customer satisfaction. The rest of the staff is amazing. Experts in product knowledge, extremely helpful and friendly.
I use a pen and the new cartridge selections they just got from Oasis and Monster are potent and taste great!
Daily price specials and home delivery make it easy. They are open everyday, the store is always clean and the displays make choices simpler.
I love The River!

I will start off by saying the business is great, they have a good selection of product, they are knowledgeable about the various products and always seem to have the answers I need. The staff is friendly and professional and always seem willing to help.

I think my only downside which actually prompted me to finally write the review are two things;

* The text messaging system seems to be delayed as I typically won't receive texts about their sales until much later in the day when I cannot make my way to the store because I am at work. If I had a much sooner notice the chances of me being able to make the trip are significantly better. Messages should be delivered by the morning around the start of the day so all customers can take advantage of the great deals. Good for the customer and good for the business.

* My second point is actually related to the first, change of store hours. I had not received any kind of information (that I am aware of) through any of my means of communication that open store hours were going to be reduced by 2 hours early throughout the week. Coupled with the fact that I don't get out of work until 6:00 pm it was definitely a bummer when I finally showed up to the store, driving all the way from Corunna just to have to turn around. I missed a REALLY good holiday sale and it just leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Maybe more transparency would be helpful, for them and for their customer base.

Everything said though the business is great, everything said above still applies and I will continue to shop with them for quite a long time coming. I just want to clarify that this isn't meant to be a scathing review, just a customer's opinion.

My roommate and I have ordered from this place probably eight-10 times throughout the spring and summer! We enjoyed the service from the delivery driver and the person we talk to on the phone! But today I won't placed an order I get my normal confirmation text and then the next text it says my order is being prepared but 10 minutes later I received a phone call saying that I'm out of the delivery zone! When I asked the lady they change the delivery zone she said no I told her we order before she said impossible they've never delivered to my area so I assumed I might've ordered from the wrong place hung up I checked again online to make sure and it was the right place! When I called back to see if I can talk to someone the same lady answer the phone she said that it was past the delivery time and had no more openings left, She then rudely told me to stop going around the rules which I have no clue what she meant and hung up on me

I love to visit the River. It is so clean and the products are displayed beautifully. I have always received the best customer service and if they don't know the answer to a question, they find out. They make me feel like a rock star.
