The Rusty Nail Bar

Came in for some music tonight. Ended up getting some dinner. My husband and I shared the fried ravioli, pretzel bites, and chicken tenders with steak fries. Bar service only but they deliver the food to the table. I'm a pretzel bite snob. These were ok. A bit over cooked, over salted but the stone ground mustard was very good. The fried ravioli was excellent. Chicken tenders weren't anything special but the steak fries were great.
I'd skip the pretzels next time.
The pool room apparently allows smoking. The stench of old cigarettes leaches into the bar.
Free parking and no cover charge tonight. I'd come back.

Honestly, my expectations for the bar just from driving by it every day, were extremely low. I thought it might be a dirty, biker bar. So, we were kind of wary about what we were walking into when we went to watch the super bowl.

BUT it's really clean and the service was great! They have good snacks and good prices and deals! They have so many games and cute bathrooms. The crowd skewed younger than I expected and no one made me uncomfortable. I actually really enjoyed myself!

My ONLY cons were:
- the audio during the super bowl kinda sucked, especially for the parts you wanted to hear like the halftime performance and the ads. I'm not sure how that can be fixed, but hoping it gets fixed before next year's super bowl.
- the lock on the one working women's stall was broken

If I could rate this bar a negative, I would. The band was banging on the drum for 15 minutes during mic check. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes and no one approached me. I got up to leave and the bartender made a motion with her hand like just leave. The woman's restroom does not have doors.

Great night that I was there. It was an event night with hip hop and rnb so I had a blast to say the least but one in particular bartender with the long hair and pony tail with a sleeve and other tats seem to just be lazy AF and rude. I still had a great night and recommend even tho I was informed that the hip hop and rnb night was only that night.

Great place. Fun for a get together with casual environment, clean, pool table, friendly people, free parking! - real local only place with no tourist.

I've been playing vball at the Rusty Nail since the court was built and I hope to be able to play for years to come. Lately there's been a terrible stench coming from under the outside deck. Due to this, some players & friends have decided to go elsewhere. I have to believe this issue is effecting other patio business as well. Hopefully you can find the reason for the fowl smell & fix it soon.

It okay. People are friendly and the beer is cold. But the giant homeless camp next door is a menace and the smell is so bad that it sticks to your clothes.

Such a hidden gem! From the outside you wouldn't think much of the place but wow does it have character once you step inside. They have two full bars; one indoor and one outdoor. They have outdoor volleyball, pool tables, darts, live music, and much more when it comes to entertainment. Very reasonable drink prices with different drink deals every day. Lots of fun moonshine options too! Bartenders were super friendly. I will definitely be back.

Tommy was awesome. He made us blueberry muffin shots. Was clean, cold beer and amazing staff

Karaoke and NASCAR, what a country! The Rusty Nail was a last minute stop after a night in downtown.

This is a typical dive bar. Smokey, cheap drinks and ok bar food. The place was empty when we got here, but I could see this place being full on a Friday or Saturday. My buddy and I went with a few vodka sodas and on the bartenders recommendation, we got a plate of fried buffalo shrimp and fries. This plate of food was actually pretty good! The shrimp were spicy and crispy and the fries were very fresh.

There's a smoking section outside, but they leave the doors open and the smell creeps in. This was annoying and I can only imagine how smokey it gets on a busy night. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back here, but it's an ok option for a starter drink before heading elsewhere or a night cap!
