What can you say? As soon as Elaine and I set FOOT in his office we knew something was AFOOT! Dr B is a professional, sought after podiatrist in Overland Park. But he could well be a STAND up comedian. Rather a SIT down comedian. That's much more on the BALL. He knew exactly what to do in about five minutes and explained the process. His only ACHILLES TENDON is he is not everywhere helping others TOE the line. To ARCH over to finish this, not to a HEEL or anything, he is magic. Tell him Bob Hope sent you!

I've had issues with heel spurs for a few years. I got some type of alcohol injection that took care of my left foot and helped my right foot for short periods. I thought that I was definitely going to need surgery to have my right heel spur removed, but Dr. Bembynista talked me into having a PRP injection. Man, am I glad he did. It's been over 10 months and I've had no issues with my feet. This has allowed me to get back to my outdoor lifestyle and enjoy life once again. I can't thank Doc enough. He is a wonderful, down to earth, and a caring person. He even called to check on me over the weekend on his personal cell phone after my procedure and who does that in today's world. Unbelievable care!

Dr. Bembynista makes your experience at KC Foot Care individualized and unique. I always left the office with a smile on my face and shared many laughs with the staff, including Dr. Bembynista. I am grateful for the great care I received!

Dr. B is the man!!

I had to have a big toenail removed. Yikes! I was really nervous. Dr. B made me so comfortable and my anxiety disappeared. He explained everything to me. The price, procedure and aftercare. He is truly a caring man. Funny too. I could not be more pleased with my visit. In and out in 30 minutes. Dr. B needs to be a doctor of everything!

I feel so fortunate to have found the KC Foot Care clinic and Dr. Thomas Bembynista. I previously worked with two other local podiatrists who couldn't diagnose the problem and didn't seem too invested in my case. With my lateral ankle pain interfering with my sleep and daily activities, I decided to seek care one more time. Dr. Bembynista pinpointed the problem not even two minutes after we shook hands. He was patient and listened to my history and symptoms, informative in his explanations and treatment plan, and all around very personable. The conversation was not intimidating or bogged down with medical terminology, but collaborative and easy to follow. Every individual apart of his team was kind, helpful, and made my visit nothing but positive. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking a podiatrist's care. Third time really was a charm!

Had a wonderful experience at KC Foot. Dr. Bembynista did a great job caring for my broken foot - healed up, just as he said in the 6-8 week time frame. Nurses and staff were super friendly and their appointments were on time. I will be recommending and going back, if the need arises. Thank you, Dr. Bembynista and staff!

I'm compelled to write this review for one of the best doctors I've ever met. Dr, Bembynista is joyful and pleasant to visit with. This doctor has great empathy for each and everyone of his patients. I've never met any doctor as caring. After, surgery he calls each of his patients to make sure your doing okay. I've been a patient of his since 1994. Without Dr. Bembynista I would have been in a wheelchair years ago. His staff has always been pleasant and caring also. If I had to rate him on a scale of !-10. I rate him a 10. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a good doctor.

I never imagined my first Yelp would be for a podiatrist :). But, it would be selfish of me not to share our experience with this doc.

My 10 year old needed the care of a podiatrist. He had an ingrown toenail on his big toe and this was his second round of this in recent months...just different foot. My son was in a lot of pain and extremely anxious. Would not let Children's Mercy ER touch it. They just put him on oral antibiotics and sent us on our way.

What a blessing to find Dr. Bembynista. He is kind, patient, informative and professional. He tried to treat my son in office but my son was just so scared. Dr. B remained calm and treated my son with respect and dignity. He came up with a plan B (light sedation at a Surgicenter and went ahead and did a more permanent treatment to both large toes to prevent this from recurring). He worked us into his schedule for surgery just 2 days after appt!

Dr. B and his staff are all incredibly warm and professional. Talked my son and me through details before and after procedure and even called us later that night to check in and be sure we understood aftercare. This doc really CARES about his patients! The only bummer is if you go to him you'll wish he could be your family doc and not solely a specialist! Fantastic doctor!

Dr. B is a wonderfully compassionate, knowledgeable, attentive and results-oriented Doctor. I went to two other foot doctors and was very unsatisfied before being referred to Dr. B by two friends who highly recommended him. I have been his patient for a year now and am very satisfied with his bed side manner, surgical recommendations, and his sincere desire to ensure my concerns are addressed and resolved. I highly recommend Dr. B. He has removed two neuromas and treated various foot issues related to poor surgical procedures conducted by other dr. What a blessing he is! Shelley W.

25 years ago I had a sales job that required my feet to be in high-heeled shoes for about 15 hours per day. My feet hurt so badly I would literally cry when I took my shoes off at night.

At the time there was a podiatrist in town that was doing one surgery after another and I met so many people that had their feet butchered by him. So....I decided to suffer until a woman I worked with told me about her former neighbor...Dr. Bembynista. She called him Dr. B. Dr. B said I had bunions on both feet and surgery was required.

Being young and feeling concerned that if I missed one day of work I would be looked upon as a BAD employee and have my reputation as a dedicated servant of Corporate America tarnished...I told him I needed them both done at the same time to reduce my off work time. To do that an overnight hospital stay was required. Dr. B did the surgeries on both feet...no pain at all. No pain pills needed. I am allergic to nickel and the pins he had to put in my feet were causing redness around them. I called Dr. B's office.

It was snowing like a blizzard that day. Dr. B said he was coming to my house to take them out. He didn't want me to call my mom for a ride. I decided while he was driving over I should shovel the driveway and sidewalk so he wouldn't have to walk in the snow! I did this in my little flat wooden slip on velcro closed shoes!!! Dr. B arrived and questioned who did the shoveling? I told him I did. His eyes got as big as the headlights on a HUMMER. I laid back in the reclining chair and looked at the ceiling while he pulled the pins out. I felt nothing at all. Healed up just fine, have NEVER had any pain since and avoid high-heeled shoes as they are damn destroyers of feet.

4 years ago I had a pain in the bottom of my foot. When I walked in Dr. B's office we chatted...his son is now grown and doing wonderful things with his life....Dr. B has been very busy all these years....life is good for both of us. Dr. B looked at me and said you know I will always remember the wood floors in your house the day I came over and pulled the pins out of your feet. We laughed so hard! I was thankful he recalled the wood flooring and not how insane I was to be out shoveling snow just days after surgery! .

Be a good patient (don't walk in my footsteps)...follow his orders....expect good care because after all these years its obvious he is still taking excellent care of his patients!
