Tiki Bar at North End Market

We stopped in after a walk on the beach and it was perfect. We loved the low-key, tastefully understated "hole in the wall" atmosphere. Our visit was during the offseason, so it was nice and quiet. The bartender was attentive and worked quickly. She mentioned a number of fun activities that are held there throughout the week, like paint and sip and karaoke. We'll definitely be back.

The market has your last-minute beach basics: TP, beer, a few household necessities and it is great to have the convenience year round instead of driving miles off island.
The bar is open air with daily mixed drink specials and a huge outdoor area. Cool off after a day in the sun or join the locals for a late-night beer.

We were visiting the Surf City area for a week-long vacay and this sweeeet little spot was mere yards from our beach house. It's tiny (about the size of my living room) but the service is friendly, the drinks delicious, and by the end of the week we were on a first-name basis with several of the regulars, plus the bartenders and even the business owners. I found myself saying more than once "maybe I should move here, just so I can come to the Tiki Bar more often".

By night 5 we were finally treated to their hopping karaoke night, where we belted out tunes from the 40s to present day, including some Christmas faves. Word on the street is that this is the place to see and be seen on a Thursday night on Topsail Island, and I can't disagree. Of the three spots we visited that night, Tiki Bar was the MOST happening by about 1000%.

In the warmer summer months, the TB becomes an indoor/outdoor venue, with a sandy beach volleyball court too. In the cooler season, though, I recommend wearing a jacket as it's not the warmest bar ever. Drinking a couple of tasty rum drinks (try the Pirate Grog!) helped take the edge off, too.

Shoutout to the great staff and patrons of the Tiki Bar for making our vacay so memorable. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back!

Super cute and tiny market and bar that allows you to enjoy a full day at the beach and come to grab a quick snack and drink before heading out on the town or back out on to the beach.

They have a nice wine selection as well as craft beer. The staff was friendly and chatty. I might have to go back and snag a few bottles of wine before heading home.

This is what hidden gems are all about. We were just driving all around North Topsail and ran in to this fantastic place. It is a market and tiki car ran together. The marker has all kinds of snacks, and some things you may need if you run out and don't want to drive off the island to a large store. The tiki bar is really cool. You can write on the walls. There is a volleyball court and cornhole in the back. Bartender was great and they have karaoke on Wednesday's. It is open year round and is a super fun spot.

It's locally owned and operated. It's not like your regular markets and bars. This is the place to go. You'll always have a great time here. Try the ice cream! Buy some sushi! Stay for a round of karaoke!

Absolutely one of my favorite bars that I have ever been to. Small in size but large in vibes. Every bartender and the owners are fantastic!! When I return for vacation again, it will be one of my first stops every time!
