Thank you, Amanda at Tim's Carpet for helping me choose the beautiful charcoal colored marnoleum for my kitchen. It's matches the colors and tones in the room perfectly. Thanks also for sending the excellent installation crew from Bravo's Flooring. Angel Bravo and his crew (Jose and Jose) kindly adjusted their schedule to accommodate my contractor. They were prompt and professional. I enjoyed working with everyone.
Highly recommend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tim N.OR, OR045Aug 7, 2020
From the moment we walked in Mitch made us feel like we the only ones in the store ( wait we were) no just kidding even if it was packed we wouldn't have known it. Mitch's knowledge and ability to direct is to the perfect flooring made us at ease. We felt the pricing was competitive yet reasonable in our budget. They scheduled the time and actually got done quickly. They were mindfully if all our animals and practiced good Covid etiquette. Couldn't have been more pleased. Highly recommend them and will use again if it comes up.

We used Tim's Carpets to install new flooring in 3 bathrooms, utility room and kitchen/dining area. First of all, Gary Wright (I hope that's his correct last name!) was helpful in describing how the job would be done. He came to our house to take measurements and give us an estimate. He explained how the installer would help us move appliances and what we needed to do ahead of the installation to make sure we were ready for it. The installer, Rob, was excellent. He worked steadily and did an outstanding job. There were a few problem areas that he helped us fix. He very carefully helped move all of the appliances when needed. He was reliable, always on time. We are so pleased with the final result!
Also, we had checked other flooring stores in the area. We got the best price for the exact product we had been looking for and we liked the staff at the store! Thank you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John E.Dallas, OR34261Dec 15, 2019
We have been very satisfied customers of Tim's carpet for decades, but as new products have come onto the market especially for hard surface flooring, we went and met with Mitch yesterday. He was extremely knowledgeable, and what equally liked was that he factually was aware of each different one's strengths and other factors. At no time however, did we feel that he was trying to up-sell higher price products, just being honest with full disclosure on each one. He is not just smart, but also very pleasant to work with!

Stopped in on a Saturday on a referral from my builder to pick our flooring. The lady working told me I needed an appointment when the place was empty. She was terribly rude and just pointed at a room and told me to look rather than help me find what I was looking for.
I will go to Portland and fine someone that cares.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rita H.Brooks, OR0101Aug 13, 2019
If I could do NO STARS I would. Over-promised and under-delivered. Lied to make the sale ("oh yes. We've done this in homes before"). NEVER EVER BE THE EXPERIMENT. Five months for a master bath gut and redo. Turns out they had put the flooring in GROUP HOMES with perfectly square rooms. I had told them in advance that the reason for this flooring was that I am a fall risk. They obviously did not care at all.
The contractor was done with EVERYTHING in 6 weeks. The rest of the time was waiting [3.5 months] for the floor to be installed with Tim's failing to install it correctly so that water ran out of the shower and headed toward the bedroom (easily 10'-15' away).
They sent an installer who did not know what he was doing, constantly asked for input and then dismissed it, and ultimately because NO ONE was overseeing the installer, Tim's had to rip out the floor in the shower and re-do the slope. I WILL NEVER WORK WITH THEM AGAIN. A total cluster all the way around.
I paid them because I said I would. They did not deserve it. At all.
RESPONSE TO TIM'S EXCUSES BELOW: To clarify, MY contractor followed Tim's instructions to the letter. Tim's would like to try to shift blame (which was consistent with their contributions throughout). There is no shifting here. Tim's lied to make the sale, gave my contractor specific instructions for his work (which he followed) and sent an installer who did not know what he was doing, and when he did realize something was wrong he installed the flooring anyway. The ONLY reason Tim's ripped out their mistake and began listening to MY contractor, was that he outlined a plan to fix THEIR mistake. There was no "teamwork" involved in the solution. This was all my contractor, proposing a solution, giving Tim's marching orders, and then making it happen. (This update has been removed once and I will continue to replace it when it is deleted again. It is grossly unfair to be able to post a review and then the vendor can intimate you are lying and you are unable to rebut. I REBUT.)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Yes, the bathroom was a challenge. After the material supplier shipped flawed material for the third time, we decided our best option was to have you reselect a different color. Unavoidable delays were created with each shipment as the supplier first "inspected" the material, then shipped yet another flawed piece from the east coast.
We tried to provide an adequate slope in your shower, despite the fact it was not physically achievable from the onset of the project. Your remodel contractor should have originally lowered the shower floor to allow for adequate slope for the water to properly flow to the drain.
We understand this was a long, painful process; and, we empathize with your frustrations and inconveniences. Remodeling projects are often challenging; and, we agree your project had more than its fair share of obstacles. Fortunately, through teamwork, we were able to successfully complete your project. - Timothy R.Salem, OR0353Jul 24, 2017
We used Tim's carpets to install new carpet in four bedrooms and two stairways - a fairly large job that took the installers four days. The carpet is great and the installers were VERY careful and respectful - we really appreciated the good customer relations and would recommend this business with a very high rating - was a difficult job and they performed extremely well!

I've been purchasing floor coverings when needed through this company for over 20 years. I can count on them to do a great job. They recently installed vinyl floors in my laundry room, kitchen and master bathroom. Each room brought its own challenges, but Rob, their master installer with 30 years experience (he said 20 years were with Tim's) did a beautiful job, on time, and between two snow storms, no less. I count on Tim's Carpets for transparent bidding, quality materials and superior workmanship.
