I've found my place! I discovered Tina by studying Yelp reviews, and the community delivered! The entire team is very hardworking, and takes the time to get it right. High skill and great prices. Everyone looks a little sharper and happier when they leave. Mahalo!!

I've been using Tena's for years just never thought to check in for some reason. Always come away with a great experience and nicely trimmed hair at a very reasonable price. If you do decide to get a haircut come early and during the week if possible as the weekends are very crowded.

Visiting from the mainland. Decent haircut at an affordable price and Tina is so kind. Cant beat that. Did a walk in.

Quick haircut and hardly any long wait. Didn't expect the razor the first time here, but it brought back memories of when my grandpa used use it to get those clean edges.

Updated to a reduced rating due to the fact that every time I wish to get a haircut there parking is completely full. Perhaps a new business opened or what? Can't get a haircut if there's no available parking, is there. Only started about 2-3 months ago. Previously, always parking spaces available.
Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 1, 2022Previous reviewOpens at 8:00am - NOT 08:30am as posted in Yelp. First time here. May adjust stars (4)after I get my haircut. Have to wait because of waiting group outside ahead of me.
Updated to 5-star in spite of confusion online with hours vs what time they actually open. My barber is Kim. Did an excellent job of cutting my hair, neck/shoulder massage and eyebrows trim. Only complaint was the wait (over 45"). Came early during the week as suggested but still busy. Last (5th) barber came on board over one hour after opening time (08:00am). There were 2-3 barbers when I arrived at 08:24am, then 4 at 08:45am. There were at least 5-6 customers ahead of me. They do an excellent job so I see why they have a lot of customers in spite of the wait. - Vince B.Henderson, NV8126041800Jun 20, 2020Updated review
Time for an update of Tina's Barber Shop. Still 5 Stars in my book. Over the years they gradually increased to 5 barbers. Each one uses the 'Tina' approved step by step hair cut process. The process includes a neck and shoulder massage at the end of the cut. And each barber does a great job on my hair. But, I have noticed that they have all mastered the 'skin fade' haircut and the younger customers seem pleased and make up at least half the customers. I have also noticed that Tina does all of the eye brow waxing. Seems no one else is trusted with this yet.
Covid 19 Era: Tina's reopened June 6 per state guidelines and they follow all the regulations to the letter. No more waxing or shaving. Customer and barber both wear masks. Name is recorded, hand sanitizer etc. Social distancing etc. It was my first time back a few days ago and it was pretty painless and it felt safe.
Virus safety: It did feel safe. Some are anxious to put the virus behind them. But, most that I know are still anxious and feel better with active precautions being followed. All the customers seemed cooperative and that added to the good feeling.Helpful 33Thanks 0Love this 34Oh no 0May 5, 2012Previous reviewI believe in giving credit where credit is due. I love Tina's Barber Shop. I was so happy to find this place as I was getting tired of driving into town for my haircut. I had tried 3 other Kaneohe barbers and was burned with each experience.
Tina's Barber Shop is a hole in the wall barbershop in Kaneohe. Tina has owned the business for about the last 3 years when she bought out Diana's Barbershop. When It was Diana's, Tina cut the men's hair and Diana did the ladies hair.
Tina adopted me as a customer the first time I walked in. She asked how I wanted my hair cut. She said if she didn't cut it just exactly the way I wanted, then, I should tell her and she would do it right the next time. She made sure I knew her name and always seemed pleased when I came back.
Now that it is officially Tina's Barber Shop she diplomatically re-assigned me to her sister (I think it's her sister anyway). She gave her sister the details of how to cut my hair. I now get the perfect hair cut just by walking in.
Best experience there ever was about a year ago. I made the mistake of going in on a Saturday morning. I got to the door and saw all the little kids and about 10 other people outside waiting. Even with all three of them cutting hair I knew it was going to be a long long wait.
As I turned around at the door and headed back to the parking lot to leave, Tina spotted me and sent someone out to call me back in. When I got inside she announced that I was next and then she and another barber looked at the book and confirmed that I had an appointment. This was all for the benefit of all the people waiting! I didn't have an appointment! Tina was paying me back for being a loyal customer.
Tina doesn't even know my name and doesn't know what I do. She knows that I just like to get my hair cut without chit chat. Outstanding customer service that is very hard to find.
Men's haircut about $12.50, limited but free parking, Extra special treatment: Priceless !
PS: Actually I wrote this review awhile back and posted it. But, I think because of an address mix up or change in business name or something? there are 2 listings for the same business. But, I like Tina's so much I'll post my review here too.Sep 8, 2011Previous reviewI believe in giving credit where credit is due. I love Tina's Barber Shop. Kim had done a great job on my hair and it was affordable. Had to wait a little but wasn't too long and it was worth it. Will be going back again.

Noce haircuts with a massage for q great price. Be ready to wait they don't take reservations you have to go and sign your name in the they call you if your not right there. With these times they say to wait in your car and they will call which they do. Great service, went back a few times already and will go back again.
