Tinto Wine & Cheese - Virginia Beach

Such a beautiful place! The ambiance and decor are elegant yet subtle. Went for a work function and it was perfect. The staff are welcoming and the wine & food are great. I will definitely return with my besties. The place is small but that is no issue for me.

The manager (Mary?) is so knowledgeable and friendly. We had someone different help us on our last visit, and the experience was just so-so. Mary makes your visit special.

The wines are amazing and impeccably paired with the food. The monthly dinners are wonderful and can be a little outrageous on the good side. I've never had so much fun at a wine bar before!

If you love wine, be sure to check out this spot!!! It's a great spot with really good wine and charcuterie. We came here for wine tasting one evening and had a great time.

I loved how they talked about each wine and told us which cheese to eat that goes with that specific wine. The pairings were so good and really did go perfectly.

I definitely want to keep coming back here. Who doesn't love wine and cheese! It's a great date nite spot or even a place to relax over wine.

Nowhere on the website did it say that there was going to be a private event? We drove out 3 hours to stop by here on the way to Virginia Beach and we were disappointed to find out it was closed for a private event.

This is a great date night spot. The service was good. The wine was amazing and the food was good. I definitely recommend this place.

Y'all! I cannot recommend this place enough! Not only was The food was AMAZING and the service exceptional.. we asked if we could set up a little table for our friends 30th birthday and they helped us set up and take a picture and were so accommodating and friendly I just can't even begin to describe how comfortable the whole experience and atmosphere was here. 10/10 will recommend forever

Tinto has been an old favorite for years, ever since my husband and I went to try out this local wine shop back in 2015. We have always enjoyed their wonderful wines and delicious food! Recently, we finally tried out one of their Dinner Parties, my husband and I were blown away with Tinto's Rome themed dinner. Ever since our winter vacation to Italy, we have been longing for an authentic Italian meal - and this party did not disappoint.

Also, Tinto has an amazing selection of Old World wines, and their staff is top notch! We love going in and visiting and trying new amazing wines!

I am so loving the ambiance here at Tinto!!! It's a bit small, but intimate. I still love it :)

I came in here last Friday to handle some business for an upcoming wine party, but to my surprise I walked into a full house of wine tasters...oooohlala!!! I understand now that Fridays and Saturdays are super busy - I'm a witness to Friday night!!

I arrived about 8 pm and the tasting was in full effect...standing room only for us!! We were cool with standing though as that gave us a reason to browse at all the wines available for tasting and purchasing.

We were excited to finally check this place out in person!!

We were greeted my Carmen - she is like the sweetest person on Earth - such an awesome spirit was felt from her that night!!

While we didn't sit down for the sampling, we sampled a few of our choices just to get a taste and enjoy the vibe a little more.

Oh wait...some seats became available :)

The two wines we sampled, Guadalupe (white wine) and Sangue Di Giuda (sweet red) were divine!!!! I usually don't care much for sweet wines, but that Giuda - magnificent and sexy at the same time!!!

We are so looking forward to returning as Tinto will be hosting our own wine tasting!!! Super excited to update this review for I expect nothing but awesomeness to take place REAL SOON.

I also dropped in on Wednesday to finalize the party details and Carmen's great face was there ready to assist. One other customer was present...sampling and buying - I love it! The customer was even friendly and we had a little chit chat. It seems like a cool hangout spot...you remember the show "Cheers" -

Yeah I had that feeling for sure when I left on Wednesday - oh that was yesterday :)

Try Tinto if you haven't already!!

I believe another location is in Norfolk too. Everyone seems to be on top of their customer service skills and I absolutely will cheers to that!!

The shop is located in a shopping center among A LOT of other shops. I can perhaps see parking being a issue if you are just coming to this shop, but it's worth the drive and if you have to park far just make sure you can walk straight without assistance :)
