TLC Nail Salon & Bar

My husband booked pedicures for the both of us for my birthday yesterday. Mia and Hannah were our salon technicians who provided fantastic, professional, caring treatment to us . The salon was not overly packed with clients which can be annoying. The salon was clean, bright, beautifully decorated. The prices were in line with the services that we received. This will be my new salon from here on out .thank you Hannah and Mia for making my birthday special!

My girlfriend and daughters turned me on to doing pedicures about a year ago. I have to admit it is a great pleasure. Grooming and caring for your feet is an amazing feeling in the first place. TLC is a clean place with a super friendly staff. Mai has taken care of me so well repeatedly I keep coming back. She does a great job and when doing the top package with gel, hot stones and skin products it is definitely pampering.

So yes, I'm a dude with soft feet and painted toes...even after walking 30+ miles a week.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Left in tears. I called over the phone a few minutes before entering hoping to avoid an entire price flip/or for them to take advantage of me being new to them (no prices are really posted so it's word of mouth). Sadly it still happened. I only wanted the gel polish removed and since I planned to cut my nails super short and apply some clear polish at home since I was on my way to dance class.

Over the phone the lady was kind and sad that service alone was $10, so I stepped in thinking I'd pay $10 + tip. After patiently waiting for 20 minutes a lady with a very obvious attitude said "what's the problem now" as if I were a frequent customer. With that I should've up and left. She quickly took off the gel polish with the drill totaling maybe 2-3 minutes and then said $15 + $2 debit fee. With better attitude this may not have upset me, but if employees have two different prices any new customer can easily over pay for the same service, plus have TERRIBLE treatment on top.

I left a sad tip for her obviously poor behavior and because I truly feel I was overcharged. Most places taking off gel without soaking don't even ask $10, I should've known better than to come here.

I just received the worst set I've ever received from this nail shop. The lady was unprofessional made fun of my nails. I asked for a basic short black get set. The set come out uneven and lumpy. I asked her to fix but she just didn't know how to.
So $90 trash service. Would never recommend again

The one star is for the gentleman that took his time with my pedicure.

Luann on the other hand. I've never been so disappointed with my nails. The moment someone else walked through the door- you can tell she wanted me out of her chair. I even offered to see another technician so she could take the new person that walked in.

So I called back and the owner offered to redo the nails for me at no extra cost. He definitely took the time. I'm updating review to 3 stars since I had to drive all the way back even though they could have offered to redo before I left since Luann knew I was disappointed. I am never the one to complain as I feel extremely embarrassed to do so.

Also- the color I wanted was not available.

This was the most expensive BASIC pedicure that was worth $15...a dollar a minute not $42!! The massage was just a rub. I can rub my own legs with more pressure. Really enjoyed the hot towel. I think that justifies the high cost of a less than desirable pedicure.

My opinion: You live in America, learn to speak and communicate the language especially if you're in customer service! Very, very rude to talk out loud and motion your head towards that customer.

Best place to get your nails done . I have really short nails and they were so nice to me. If you are ever in Las Vegas do not waste your money on place on the strip come to TLC Nail Salon and Bar . They are great!! Everyone at TLC.

Definitely found my go-to place when I visit Vegas! They were extremely accommodating and responsive.

Hanna was my nail technician and she did a really great job of listening to exactly what I wanted for my gel manicure with design. She took her time helping pick the colors from a photo and was very focused on creating the design.

I will be recommending TLC Nail Salon to all my fellow Vegas travelers and locals. Thank you Hanna

Very disappointed in this salon. Must be a place for females only. I wanted a Mani/Pedi for a guy. Started out good with hot water and nail clip. Never scrubbed my soles or offered any additional services. Just soaked my feel and cut my nails. $42.00
Had a manicure and the tech "Hanna" used tools from her drawer. Not cleaned or sanitized. This should have been my first clue. Never used cuticle softener, no lotion and hardly cut my nails. A fast filing is all I got. I asked her to cut a bit shorter and she seemed to be upset with that request. She applied a clearcoat polish that I asked for and got it all over my fingertips. No clean up or even brushing of the fingers. $25 I advised the manager and she said we could start all over but after sitting there for about 45 min, I did not want to start all over. Sadly, this was y first AND last time here. Not recommended for male clients for sure.

I remember coming when it first open up at this location & everyone was nice and made you feel welcomed . It's been a long time since I came back & everything went so well . Thank you for the service you all do . I appreciate it , keep up the good work . . .
