TLC The Lawn Company

I work in customer service so I know people are quick to complain and slow to praise. so last night when I found myself smiling at my lawn I thought I should let you know.
This is my third year of service and everything is coming together.
I open my door that looks out to the side yard and I just smile at how green and thick the lawn has becomeeven my backyard which was a weedy dust bowl is turning into a beautiful green oasis. I'm so looking forears to spendbig time out there with a good book this summer.

I fired them today. 2 years of treatment and it looks worse than ever. They are sharks, found out from a friend whose wife worked there that they are complete bandits.
I observed the first treatment of this year. The guys had practically nothing coming out of the spreader and worst of all, he treated "maybe" 20% of my lawn. Wish I'd seen this earlier. Now I understand why it's a mess.
Get rid of these rip-offs asap!

we have been using this company for a number of years. And still got tons of weeds and crabgrass.
when you call they do come and repeat a service which still doesn't help.
So today I noticed we got a treatment that we didn't sign up for ( we didn't renew ) but was told if they don't hear from us , it's an automatically renews

So when I called to explain what had happened a rude customer service person Heather said because we didn't call and cancel, we would be responsible for the $72.85 fee and then i told her it wasn't fair I didn't feel like should be responsible, she told me that it would go to a collections agency and hung up.

I used this company last year, I paid for a FULL year of service. My yard ended up being striped! It looks AWFUL! I called last spring for them to come out and fix it. It took 3 weeks and by that time the manager said, "It will green up in the spring and I can't do anything now because your state doesn't allow treatment this time of year!" If it's not better in the fall, just call. So I did, on March 3 (because they said it can be treated in my state after March 1). I've talked to a manager twice and there is always an excuse and apologies but it has NOT been fixed! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!

How does a company like this survive? When you hire someone to do something as simple as removing weeds from your yard, your expectation is that the weeds are removed! Not with these guys. After multiple applications, multiple complaints, and speaking with service managers, nothing was done to improve the situation. Even cancelling the service was difficult. I had to wrestle with them just to stop them from coming out. But of course they want to be paid for the work that they didn't do. When I wanted to dispute the bill and quality of service, to review the pictures I'd taken documenting the zero results that they generated, the promised call from a service manager never came. About the only thing they were good at was hiring a collection agency to try and destroy my credit.

A scale of 1 to 5 is inadequate for rating these guys; they require -10 to 5, and I'd be quite comfortable giving them that -10. They could not have performed any worse. Nobody could.

Company is nothing but crooks! Try to cancel they continue showing up and then charge for services no matter how many times you call. Service is subpar as well.

Very disappointed in this company last year the gentleman would cuss real bad applying fertilizer in my yard this year the gentleman was vamping on my porch .
My yard didn't look that great last year had dandelions and weeds.
Received a bill at end of season even after I pay yearly in the spring .
Employees unprofessional

RUNNNNNNN & SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! THIS COMPANY IS NOT WORTH IT. YOU WON'T SEE ANY RESULTS I ended up having to go with a better company to treat my yard because ALL TLC was doing was taking my money month and with no results and still had the nerve to send me a balance bill. A whole sham if you ask me

I used this company as an alternative to the big box companies in my area, and was highly disappointed.
Needless to say, I cancelled four treatments in because their systems are not for me and provided no beneficial results for the cost.

After each treatment, I would review my home security cameras to actually see their process and would end up frustrated each time.
During each treatment, the technician would ride around my yard on his motorized machine for maybe 5 minutes, noticeably missing and neglecting numerous areas. Additionally, they never walked around the yard to address weed control issues that needed spot treatment nor performed any type after treatment quality control (at least take a few minutes to see if you missed some spots). Never Again.
