Tony's Auto Removal

I honestly believe this business is a scam. I scheduled a pick up of my vehicle several days in advance, at 10:00am, on a day that I had to take off of work. Day of, I called at 9:00 am just to double check everything was in order. They said they would come at 1:00 pm instead because they were running late. At 1:30 pm I called to check on the status of pick up because I had heard nothing from them. They said they had to check with their driver and would call me back ASAP. At 2:45 pm, after hearing nothing from them, I called again and it went straight to voicemail. I then called again and it rang and rang until voicemail. This company is not to be trusted, does not deserve even 1 star but I wanted to warn people.

This place is such a joke! they call but do t leave u message to call back, your left wondering well r they coming or not. The dispatch is not helpful and argues back at you. Such a shitty business I have patience but enough is enough do not give them your business it's nothing but the run around.

If I could give less than 1 star I would give minus 10. Customer service doesn't exist with this business but you can get a good dose of piss poor professionalism, zero honest communication and lack of consideration. I was given a quote and pick up time. My husband took time off work to be available. At 20 min past appointment time I called & was told driver is running "about an hour behind". Still no show- I called again, and again 3 more times being told they would contact the driver and call me back. Almost 24 hrs later, no one has showed up or called. This business is a joke. I wouldn't recommend them for picking up a piece of paper of the floor! From looking at other reviews, I don't know how they are still in business.

So I had an appointment at 10 am for them to come and pick up at car. Around 1030 I decided to call them since no one had showed up. They then tell me that their running late but they'll be out to me in an hour and a half. I told them that that would not work due to me having an appointment around that time so we arranged for them to show up later on that day. Sure enough they never did. I never received a phone call or anything from them. Worst customer service I've ever had.

I picked them because they talked all about their integrity on their website. In reality, they showed up 3+ hours late, and here's the kicker- their website says this:

"We won't try to trick you at all either when it comes to getting paid. We know it really wouldn't be fair to give one quote over the phone and then not really be willing to pay that amount when we show up."

BUT THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID. They showed up with 50% less cash than they promised in their quote. Why? Because the catalytic converter wasn't the one they thought it was. That's a scam- the converter is original, and they never asked anyways when they quoted me.

I got ripped off- don't be a victim like me- choose any of the many other better options.

Like others have said these people will commit to a price over phone (bait) and then (switch) when they arrive and offer you less than the already agreed upon amount. They also like other reviewers point out missed appointment and were late.

They quoted us 100 dollars after we had been quoted 150 elsewhere. But they said they would be able to move the car in the next two hours so my partner and I settled for the 100. They showed up 6.5 hours later and said they would give 60 because of body damage. THERE IS NO BODY DAMAGE ON THIS CAR. We told them to forget it, and they offered 75. Classic low-balling. This is a shady, disgusting business. When I tried to call the manager, I got the tow driver, and she ignored me. Do yourself a HUGE favor and go elsewhere.

I called and set up a time for Tonys auto removal to come and get my car. Over the phone they quoted me 200. NEVER ONCE did they say that the price would change or that if you refused them that you would be charged for the tow.

SO.. they showed up about 1.5hrs late. And the kid looked at the car and bent down said that the catalitic converter was "after market" and was only worth 20 bucks and that the higest he could offer was 120. I told him no that we had agreed on 200 he then said 150. I told him no again and he left. I then got a call about 5 min later and he said that i would be charged for "the tow, gas and time spent" I told him that if they tried to send me a bill in the mail that my lawyer will be in touch. I then called the mgr and told him the same he said "i doubt you have a lawyer if you drive that kind of car" EXCUSE ME??? did i just hear you right so then he and i got into it on the phone. Apparently his driver told him that I refused the 200. He told me I was a liar and that he would call his driver, And if I would take the 200 he could take the car. I then tried to call him back after about a half hr and somone else answered the phone and called me "porky, pinoccicho" and kept asking me "why are you lying" So i just hung up the phone! they are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and they are con artists.


All in all these people are get over artists and I am SOOOO GLAD that I did not use them! I will be using pick and pull!
