Easily the best pizza in KS. I can only hope the owner comes up with some money to re-open, as this was a hidden gem in Topeka. The guys inside were always so nice, and the price for the size of the pie could not be beat. Miss this place to death!

Great little pizza shop! Locally owned. I have been seeing some really good reviews from friends on Facebook. I was out shopping on that side of town while I was in Topeka today. The owner/manager was super nice! The other staff was friendly too. I took advantage of the lunch special (2 slices and a drink). It was really good!! I have not had fresh made pizzas yet. But, I have heard nothing bad thus far.
Lunch special was only $7.00. Definitely will be back!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin J.Bountiful, UT04Aug 25, 2021
Was looking forward to this place after reading the reviews. I was staying at a hotel nearby on a business trip.
When I went to pick up my food, the building was boarded up and looks as if it has been closed for at least several months.
While on the phone with Yelp, 3 other cars rolled up with the same intention to pick up their food.
Seems that Yelp should have known by now this place was out of business.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kenneth T.Topeka, KS06Jan 24, 2022
God-awful name, but was the best pizza in town. There are a _LOT_ of pizza places in Topeka, but none of them are very good. Topeka Pizza was the best of the lot. I say 'was' because they had a fire in 2021 and have been closed since. Don't know if they'll come back.
Other reviewers talked about them being expensive, but that's just not true. The smallest pizza from Topeka Pizza was 14", which is the large at most other places. I think people looked at the menu and saw 3 sizes, then compared the prices to those at Glory Days or whatever nasty Topeka joint they usually get pizza from, and didn't bother to look at the sizes of the pizzas. If you compare the price of the smallest pizza at Topeka Pizza ($13.99 for a 14" single-topping) to the price of a 14" single-topping from Glory Days (about $18.50) you see that Topeka Pizza is significantly cheaper. Especially if you get a "whole" or "sheet" pizza, both of which are much larger than other pizzas in town.
All that said, I didn't expect this place to stick around for 3 reasons: terrible name, bad location, and a menu that requires at least a moment of thought to not have sticker shock at the prices. If you do the math you see they're not expensive at all, far less so than most other places in town, but most people don't think that much. Sadly a fire took them out. I hope they come back, because it was the best pizza you could get without driving to Lawrence or KC for Minsky's.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bryan L.Garden City, KS29Apr 1, 2020
I've placed four carry out orders from them now and never once have they been ready when they said they would be - I'm always left waiting for 10-20 minutes beyond when they said it would be ready.
One time I got there and they hadn't even started making my pizza yet. There were no other orders, and no other customers the whole time I waited for them to make and cook my pizza. They just dropped the ball completely.
It's also hilariously expensive.
That said, what you get for the bad service and the high prices is very good pizza and wings. Everything in life is a trade-off I suppose.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - A R.Tempe, AZ146May 31, 2021
Now when I go my pizza is either under cooked or just made in a hurry and it looks disgusting and taste poorly made. Night crew is way different from day crew. What do you want is the attitude you get when you walk in...I would recommend going before 4pm so you know your pizza or cheesy bread is going to be cooked.

So I travel all over the country for work, and at the end of the day I just want to collapse In my hotel room and crash. I often order delivery pizza and I am usually disappointed. I've always thought that even if pizza is bad it's still a little good. Saying that, Topeka Pizza is hands down the best delivery pizza I have ever had! Delivered super hot and fresh by a grungy delivery guy with the biggest corniest smile ever! Seriously made my night. As did the pizza. Don't be afraid to zoom in on the photo accompanying this post.

Had their lunch special (2 slices of cheese pizza and a can of pop for $6 (tax included)), as well as a slice of their buffalo chicken pizza for $3. For the cheese pizza, there was a little too much sauce, or not enough cheese. Just felt like there was a dominating sauce flavor, so tasting the cheese and dough took away from the whole flavor experience.
The buffalo chicken pizza was a 10/10. Definitely one of the best buffalo-flavored pizzas that I've ever had.
Pricing for full pizzas (large and street size) gets pretty expensive when you add on additional toppings, or get a specialty pizza (some pizzas reach the $40+ ran
Staff was very kind and gave the place a warm and welcoming environment. Definitely show the attitude and positivity that makes you want to come back again.
All in all, as far as the whole pizza pricing, it is on the high side. Their lunch specials, however, are a great price when you want a couple generous slices of pizza and a cold drink.
UPDATE: unfortunately they got rid of their lunch special and serve personal pizzas starting at $8. At a 20 minute wait, the "grabbing a quick bite at lunch" goes out the window, and at a higher price. Very disappointed that the special is gone as lunch time was usually the only time I had available.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Dec 27, 2019Previous reviewThe addition of their cheese steak pizza is a grand slam! I thought their buffalo chicken pizza was the greatest thing to hit this city, but the cheese steak pizza stole that spot!

I'm not a fan of their pizza, I think the sauce is too sweet, but tried their fish supper and it was great! Friday's only and it's $16 but easily enough for two people. Comes with fries (a lot!), coleslaw, tartar sauce, a roll and lemon slices. This rating is for the fish and only 4 because you need to eat the fries when hot and that's hard to do since you have to take it home. We'll be back.

Wow! What a great addition to Topeka for take-out.
Don't come here looking for the bargains like those "assembly line" pizza joints. This is real pizza for a real meal!
Call ahead if it's during dinner rush hour to save yourself some waiting time. Awesome that I can pick-up at their window (especially during the past cold winter). The salads make a great side. Love the big wings!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
