I was a walk in and I decided to get my natural hair permed, Ms Jay Jay was my stylist and she did a great job, and I returned 10 weeks later for a touch up and she repeated her excellent work!
I wasn't there long and my hair felt great! I will return again! Robin Lewis

I went to the Hudson Bridge location Fri. signed this random paper @ 11:38a stating Flat Iron. 1 man was doing a sew in, 1 female currently doing a sew in (Initial A) was leaving once she finished. 1 Sr. that does Natural hair was left. The issue is that Sr says to me Porcha! Later, I called Porcha whom continued to refer to herself in 3rd person. "Did you ask for her?" I'm like, No cause I know Your not coming in! She then says another Male stylist will be in_in 2 hours? I'm glad I wasn't getting a sew in, those 5 ladies sitting there braided down were stuck. Why is the phone ringing with the manager not on site who cant see or address what's going on?

I have been here twice once for a natural hairstyle and a sew in both times they did a good job. My only dislike is the salon setup, to me it's very weird very and not designed to be your average hair salon each room is separate, meaning there is a room to get your hair wash two different rooms where the stylist may do your hair, a separate waiting room a separate room for the blow dryer and a separate room to pay for your services.

I was new to the area and looking for a salon that could do my hair and I also wanted to try a sew-in for the 1st time. My experience with the salon for the first time was great, the person doing my hair educated me on what she was going to do, plus she even told me about her training as a hair stylist (Renee). The job she did on my head was very good I liked my result, I even came back the next day for her to shorten my style...she did the cut with no problem. I think I just may make her my hair stylist for future needs. Touched By An Angel I recommend in the Riverdale area to all my friends and clients...

You truly pay for what you get at the Eagles Landing / Hudson Bridge location. Mostly all of the clients were getting quick weaves and some sew ins when I went in. I noticed a lady getting her hair dyed which bled through the cap and onto her clothes. So she was not happy at all. This location is a "walk-in" only shop so they do not accept appointments. They are open 7 days a week.

I would not go here for any special hair treatments but if you are looking for a quick wash and set or weave deal this may be okay. The only plus is that there is a Sally's a few steps away in case you forget or need anything.

I came here around 8 on a Saturday night after hearing a lot of negative things, but my experience went perfectly. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and sat down with my stylist Honey. She did my hair so well it lasted for four months plus, she was also friendly and sociable. If you go to the Touched by an Angel in Jonesboro in the evening , gone on and let Honey bless you with a style.

Ok, I went in for their 50$ sew in special (open only, closure is 75$). I saw the billboard on I-75, and I decided that if it was horrible I'd just accept the loss, and if they did a good job it would save me a fortune in the long run. First off let me tell you the bad; It is a ghetto shopping center salon that looks like a ghetto shopping center salon. The decor is terrible and everything looks like it's seen slightly better days. Also people are right about the awful customer service (at least on the phone). I called and asked at least 5 different ways for the guy who answered to give me a recommendation for a stylist and he just wouldn't. It was like a parent asking to choose between their children, they we're all described as "equally good". Even when I asked objective questions like "well who has the most experience" or "who gets referred the most by their current clientele".....nothing. Then the line started "breaking up" then went dead. Regardless of the bad impression over the phone I kept driving (mainly because I was almost there).
So I get there and look around at the sketchy interior, and kinda started to have second thoughts, but a stylist came up and introduced herself as Tia. Now her hair was actually really pretty so I started to feel better (nothing worse than a stylist with jacked up hair saying she's going to "take care" of you). The rest is pretty short and sweet...1.fast service ( I was in and out in under an hour and a half total). 2. While guy on the phone was annoying she was very pleasant, she knew how to make polite conversation, but also when to shut up (she wasn't trying to be my instant BFF or asking me crazy personal questions). 3. GREAT FINAL RESULT!!! Apparently she has been doing this for 9 years (there's another Tia there also with a different amount of experience....she may be good too but I have no idea). It's been about a week and still feels tight and secure, but not at all painful. Also the coverage and profile is flawless. I had to curl my hair a little more in the front, but I've never left a salon and not gone home and fixed it a little to get it "just right". Sorry for the long review but here's the summary: Overall despite the unsatisfying phone call, and unattractive location I wish I could give this place 10 stars because the efficiency, and quality of work for the price was AMAZING!! I will be back!

My daughter is new in town and need to get her hair done. So I mention to her I saw a flyer in the mail box about this place. Price was $50. Well she called to make an appointment. They told her they didn't make app. It was walk-in only. I thought that was odd. So she already had hair from a pervious style she was using. When she arrived they took her right in washed her hair. Then they asked her what was she getting. She told them a sew-in. The stylist ask her is her hair was already cut if so that was an extra $25. Because of the length of the hair it was another $25. So bottom line she paid $100 for what was advertised at $50. One the bright side. They did a really good job. But she won't be retuning.

OK, here is the deal! The prices are low low low for a reason. Don't go here expecting VIP services for little or nothing. You really do pay for what you get. This place is no frills, has no sense of customer service, but will give you a good perm (I'll tell you how).

Keep in mind this place operates like an assembly line: someone gets you to sign in, someone else will braid your hair, someone else weaves your hair; they might also style. If you are getting a perm, same thing: someone will slap the perm on, someone else will wash it out, and someone will style it.

Now, unless you prefer looking like a hot mess, do not get your weave done here. But, if money is extremely tight and this is your only reasonable option, come with your hair pre-braided (they will not do a circle braid, just straight back), get it sewn-in then leave immediately. Go to your regular stylist for a cut and style or wear a very very basic style.

So, here's how to get a good perm. You have to MANAGE your own experience. When you come in, sign the sheet, say I'm here for a (insert what type of perm you want). When you get a stylist, check and make sure the perm you asked for is the perm they have in hand. Instruct the stylist how you like to get your hair permed. For example, my hair is thin in one spot. I perm that area less so that my hair is thicker in that section. I instruct my stylist to perm that section last. Whatever you expect, tell them up front. Next, you decide when you want to wash it out. The stylist will slap on the perm and leave you . Remember you have to manage your own experience. Get up and go back to the sinks and tell anyone there that you are ready to get the perm washed out. Then find your stylist and tell her/him you are ready to be set. After they are done, you find a dryer to sit under. Again, you decide when your hair is dry... don't wait for them to come back and get you. You'll be there all day. Find your stylist an let them know you are dry and ready for a style. Walla! A cheap perm!

WHERE TO START?! I wouldn't even call this a salon, I've been to this salon three times mainly because of the prices. The relaxers are $25 and come with a wrap/roller set you can't beat that. I went once to get a sew in, which was not $50 but $75 due to wanting a closer. First things first, when you walk in don't expect to be greeted! These ghetto wannabe stylist don't know what customer service is. Why would I even want to sit and let you do my hair and then pay you and you couldn't even speak when I walked through the door?! The overall place is run down and the stations are old dressers. The last time I went the girl doing hair in front of me SAT ON A STOOL BAREFOOT while doing her clients hair, GHETTO. Last but not least how can you call yourself a stylist and your weave is jacked the hell up meaning nappy, tracks hanging and clearly visible. They say you get what you pay for, but I've had better results going to someones house and actually paying $50!

I almost forgot I clearly arrived way after their scheduled open time, WHY ARE THE DOORS LOCKED? Each time someone came someone would have to open the door and it got locked right behind them. Are we not safe or what? This place is a joke!
