The staff at THAH really go the extra mile to meet our needs. They are unfailingly kind, caring, supportive, helpful, understanding, smart, thoughtful, and able to work with last-minute changes, unusual schedules, and everything else that's arisen. They return calls and emails very promptly and never ever drop the ball. They listen carefully, understand thoroughly, and act accordingly. The caregivers have also been wonderful.

Before we found this place we thought all PCA agencies were the same--but that's not true. We love THAH and all its staff and employees so much.

Helped us through a really tough time where my mom was sick over new years with respiratory illness and needed someone to help her. The scheduling was easy and responsive and she had a reliable kind person waiting for her the day she was out of the hospital and the next 8 days, when the caregiver needed a day off they had a great replacement. This service really helped us in a difficult time.

All I did was speak to Craig and ask about rates (which I were excessive) and ask to him to email me the information. I received a contact which I never asked for and instructions to sign it and send a check. The rate sheet was ridiculous, if you pay by credit card the hourly rate goes up $1:00 and about a dozen more charges. It seems to be a man who bought a franchise without any experience in the field and his rates reflect the pricing.

I was very upset about his sending a contract when all I asked for was information. I am sure that there are persons who have trouble remembering conversations and will sign anything.Not me.

Incredibly helpful, lovely, caring people, both on the phone and in person. We had an emergency situation, and Craig and Blaise were so comforting to talk to, and they arranged for an absolutely wonderful aide to work with us, and she took care of my mom for a few months. She was such a kind, caring, and smart person, and Craig worked really closely with us, to make sure that the schedule worked out in the best way possible. Absolutely wonderful group of people, they really care about what they do.

Touching Hearts at Home has the most compassionate, helpful people who really understand how to work with the elderly. We called after my 88 year old mother in law fell and broke her hip and needed more home care after rehabilitation than what insurance would cover. After that the question is, "Where do we go from here?" Fortunately we found them. This is a truly wonderful and caring organization.

I was waiting for my mother's Medicaid home care coverage to be approved and decided to temporarily hire a company to provide her with assistance. With my mother's well being at stake, I throughly researched several companies. I ultimately decided upon Touching Hearts at Home. The company receives many positive reviews on Google and Yelp and the accolades are well deserved. Touching Hearts is run very professionally and efficiently. They were able to start services with only a days notice. Starr was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Upon request, she supplied me with the phone numbers of all the aides, in case I needed to contact them about my mother's care. She would also notify me ahead of time when a new aide was coming to the house. While some aides were better than others, all of them were competent and caring. I loved being able to see who was assigned to take care of my mother through the Touching Hearts Family Room. The carers washed her clothes, assisted her with toileting and bathing, prepared her food and so much more. I used Touching Hearts for two and half months and only stopped with because my mother's Medicaid services were approved. If you are in need of home care services, I would absolutely recommend Touching Hearts at Home.

My 91 year old mother, an upper east side resident, has started showing some signs of memory loss / Dementia and I wish we would have called these folks sooner. Balancing my busy schedule between work, the kids, and taking care of mom more than we used to really started to take a toll. The Caregivers seem to really want to be there helping her and this has allowed our visits to her to feel a lot more "back to normal". I hope things continue as well as they've started!
