So, I rarely write Yelp reviews, in fact this is my first review, but I felt the need to write a review after receiving such great service.
I requested a tow from walmart to my home. I made an appointment for 2pm. They gave me a very reasonable quote of $134. They said they would arrive between 2pm - 2:30pm. They arrived at 2:02pm, and the tow provider was kind, and was able to take my car to may house.
I really appreciate it, because I was on my lunch hour, and their promptness assured I was able to get back to work very quickly. Also, the person on the phone was also very kind, and kept my quote for the day, as I was looking for other quotes.
So, really appreciated their service. Thanks, y'all, you rock!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Isaac C.Dallas, TX6181Jun 30, 2019
Bait and switch on price 5 minutes ago. Just like all the other reviews say.

I highly recommend avoiding this service. My parents owned and operated a towing company for over 20 years and this caliber of service is unprofessional and disappointing. They outsource their towing and charge an $89 service fee to dispatch. I specifically stated the make and model of my vehicle and that it wouldn't start. Anyone in the business knows that if they vehicle doesn't start and if it's a luxury vehicle a flatbed should be provided. It was not. I was told if I cancel the service that he was going to charge $89 service fee (That I did NOT consent to prior to the service.) He also gave my credit card number in a text message to the tow truck driver. Very unprofessional and upsetting when it's already stressful getting your vehicle towed. Also a complete RIP OFF

Called and needed a tow, wanted card info immediately. Was told it would be 20 minutes, called again after 30. Said it would be another 20 minutes. I had been an hour now and I've called many times and no answer. Scam.

I am writing to mention how upset I am regarding the price charged for the service I received on 07/05. According to the price table below, I was supposed to be charged
http://tinyurl.com/y4693ldy
59 for a service call and/or 35-75 for a tow in the same city.
What happens is that I scheduled one day in advance a tow for 8:00 AM in a non-emergency call, the tow truck arrived only 10:30AM and was able to jumpstart my car, therefore no tow was necessary.
Even though, when the tow person called the company to ask how much he should charge the value was $150.00.
$150.00 dollars for a jump start when the tow was supposed to be top $75.00?
When asked, the truck driver mentioned that if I contact them directly next time they would charge less, but because they have to provide a fee to you, they have no option.
Since I have no option since the service was done, I paid the amount requested:

I hired your services, one day in advance thinking I would have as you mention "Honest Pricing Policy at Towing Austin Pros" but I got exactly the opposite.
This price is higher than if I request an emergency towing from another company.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Scott P.Los Angeles, CA571Mar 1, 2020

Waited over an hour and a half for them to outsource a jumpstart. Was told to wait as a driver would contact me shortly and heard nothing until I called an hour later. Highly recommend finding someone else.

The service itself was done well, but after being charged $170 without any service initially they blocked my personal phone number and refused to answer my calls after calling from 4 am until I tried calling from a different phone number which I was given immediate response and service. Very upset about not knowing where my car was for 13 hours + being charged

Terrible experience. Needed a tow and was quoted a specific price range based on start location and stop location. Was told driver would be here in 30 minutes. Driver called after 25 minutes and said he was 30 to 45 minutes out. An hour later he's still not there. 45 minutes later driver calls, is very difficult to understand but he can't find us. He is not making a lot of sense. We give him the address again. He says he'll put it into his gps...gee there's a good idea. Now the office calls...the driver is at the wrong address...he's now coming to the right address. 30 minutes after that he shows. Not a great start.
At the end of the tow driver charges 125 more than the estimate. When questioned they immediately drop the price 25. Uh huh. What a load of crock.
Rude people, rip off pricing and no integrity whatsoever.
Steer clear!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jesse W.Dallas, TX62285287Aug 12, 2016
Needed my car moved to north austin. I was quoted a max of 125$ and ended up paying 240$!!!!! Totally screwed me over and i'm dealing with this now because the driver overcharged.
18 mile trip
50$ for the service call, he charged me 55$
65$ for the tow for 10 miles. OK , that was correct
8 miles over at 3$ a mile, he said 10 miles over, but charged me 60$ (Really?)
60$ for special equipment, which he never asked if I was ok with using skates for my rear wheel drive car? That's for front wheel only, total BS.
Called them to discuss this, they called back at 11:30pm. The driver said he would correct the 30$ difference, still being charged the full amoung. Never call them for help, not reasonably priced, and they will charge you for things you never said it was ok for?Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
