Tran's Hardwood Floor

I have several properties and always use and trust Tran's Hardwood Floor services. Tran is reliable, schedules and completes the jobs on time, very reasonably priced, and above all, goes above and beyond in giving his detail touches to the final product. I appreciate restoring the old pine floors and bringing the natural beauty of the original wood, and Tran and his team are the go-to team to taking these challenges, and every time this guy delivers! I have floors in such bad shape and seem unsalvageable, but Tran put his magic and brought the floors back to life! I am pleased and appreciate the detail work he delivers, and is definitely money well spent on this investment hands down!

I needed my floor repaired. I called Tran to come out for an estimate. He told me to text him my address. I did but didn't receive a reply. I called him again two weeks later. He told me to text him my address again and we had settled for him to come on a Sunday. We had not specified the time and I had texted him asking when he wanted to come. No answer until the day of. Come around the time he was supposed to come, no show but called to reschedule for the next day. Fine. Next day comes, I called asking if he was coming as it was past the time he said. He asked to reschedule again to the following day. I asked him if he was just too busy. He said no no I'll do it for you no problem. The next day comes, NO SHOW. I didn't even bother calling him again. This was very unprofessional and a waste of time.

I called and set up an appointment.
Tran never showed up and did not call to cancel.
Wtf?

Tran Hardwood Flooring just finished the floors in my living room, dining room, stairs and upstairs hallway. They also installed quarter round moldings everywhere. I am really and truly stunned by how well the job turned out, how quickly and efficiently these guys tackled the job and how friendly the Tran crews were. Unbelievable work. Not only would I recommend them, I would discourage anyone from even considering another company. Their work was so well done that it looks like a new house. Super! Thank you to Tran Hardwood. I am very happy and very impressed.

Tran was referred to me by a friend--who is a contractor and electrician. I had high hopes, and the price was good. He refinished about 1000 sq ft of old, pine subfloor in a house I recently purchased.

Unfortunately, it was a pretty negative experience all around. He no-showed for the initial appointment and did not call. His workers did not stain the new boards that they installed to match the original flooring, so I literally had large sections of flooring on a completely different color spectrum.

Additionally, floorboards that needed to be secured were not secured. Tran saw their work and was not happy with it, so after two weeks of changing schedules and missed appointments, folks finally showed up. They did a poor job, did not use wood filler where needed and all in all the floors came out just ok, with lots of corners cut...

It was a cheap price for the condition of the floors. (About 3 a sq foot) however, I thought the end result and hassle was not worth the couple hundred dollars I saved.

Could have just been the crew, I don't know. But I would not recommend this company, and I absolutely hate writing a bad review about a family owned business.

I called to get an appointment for an estimate, no answer...he called me right back. He said text me the address, I did and asked him when he would come. The next day he texted can he come tomorrow. I asked what time, no response all day until the evening, I got a call. Back and forth about time . I said in the morning he said about 830 I said fine. Next day no show, got a call before noon, can he come Saturday? Ok Saturday...got a text on Saturday...something came up. Can I come on Sunday?

Really? I have been trying to just get an estimate for almost a week. If you're that busy just say no.

Horrible company to try and do business with. They don't show up on time or days scheduled their work is very shoddy and they use cheap varnish for a finish. Has bubbles all in finish. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AS THEY WILL LEAVE YOU WITH A SHODDY LOOK

Double the price of all other estimates- weird attitude very different from other professionals
