Trattoria a Chiaia da Dario

This place has changed its name it is now a Mexican restaurant with a digital menu that is impossible to read, we were seated the person who seated us played around with the television nobody approached us to take our order so we left.

Delicious! Cute spot tucked off the main road with cute, outdoor dining. We had the local special pasta de genovese which was outstanding. Great deal for big plate of pasta, bread served straight away and good local wine.

I am a neapolitan (napoletano!) who spent the last 16 living abroad. I also happens to travel much and therefore I had the chance to try some amazing food around the globe. Yet my friends, when I put in my mouth the PASTA GENOVESE I ate here I felt like Anton Ego in Ratatouille: I travelled in time to my childhood when my gran would cook on a Sunday! I am also not keen on 'baccala' (cod) but the different recepies I had here left me loving the fish! I was there on a date...and the setting on this terrace in a cul-de-sac of one of the richest and prettiest parts of naples made it one of those pleasant evening when you go home and say: "we had a great night". I am looking forward to see the next review...it cannot be too different from this!
