I have received care from the DRs. , nurses and staff at various locations in San Antonio and New Braunfels.
The two Dr's , and one P.A.that I have received care from are Dr Dar, Dr. Monis and P.A. Watson. The care and compassion for their patients is oustanding.
The in office wait time is better than average. Actually much better.
Dr. Monis is always such a good listener. A Physician that's truly a patient's advocate.
The procedures Dr Dar and Monis have performed have kept me on my feet and working.
The issues I have had were all insurance related. The office manager is adept at all the confusing claims and paperwork.
      She as well deserves kudos.
Dr Monis has tried to get a facet nerve ablation scheduled for me for quite some time. We agreed to wait until my deductable was down to a manageable fee at this time of year. As these things go, my work refused to give me an afternoon off for the procedure. I work 2nd shift. The Office Manager worked with me to schedule an appointment with another pain management Doctor in the morning , with an in office procedure to further reduce the charges.
The doctors and staff are the best around.
I can not possibly express how thankful I am for working with my schedule.
Thanks again to the Doctors and all of the staff at all of the locations. Also a thank you to Theda Oaks Surgery Center. Great care all around.
      Respectfully
      Kenneth Graham

Bad place to go for pain management I was told my appointment was at 8:30 I showed up at 8:16 and was told my appointment was at 8 and that I would have to reschedule. All I do every time I go for the past 4 years is wait in a room the pa or dr come in refill my prescription and I leave. They would not refill my prescription terrible girl up front who signs people in

Customer service (automated voice line) - good luck with the automated answering line and trying to get a hold of someone. I called and option 2 was to leave a message for their call back team. Upon hitting 2 - the automated voice said "try again" and then just circled back to the main menu. It was critical to talk to someone as my insurance plan denied an MRI that they ordered for me.

I received one of the rudest phone calls from a third party on Tricity Pain Associates' behalf.
According to this company, my account is in collections. After doing some research, I found that Tricity Pain Assoc. was the biller for Phase Four Physiotherapy, where I saw Christian Miranda. Despite asking his front desk staff what I owe for my copay at every visit, they said they would send a bill later.
Never once did I receive a bill, so I called to find out how they could send anything to a collections agency without attempting to reach the patient for payment. I spoke with Nova in TPA's billing office today, and she confirmed that no bills were ever sent via mail, email, or phone call, letting me know I had an outstanding balance.
I don't recommend the practice because there should be no reason you send your patients' accounts to collections and cause them stress just because your staff is too lazy to do their jobs correctly.

Totally dishonest. I checked before my appointment with them to make sure they were in network. I told them I wanted them to check directly with the insurance and not just assume, and they told me they did and that I was in network. Now the insurance is refusing to pay, saying I'm not in network. I also asked if the shots they wanted to give me would be an extra charge in addition to my office visit copay. I was told it would not be. Now they want to charge me thousands of dollars for an injection. The are also trying to charge me for things like a biopsy. Nothing was ever removed from me to perform a biopsy, I was never told they were going to do a biopsy. Clearly dishonest. Seems there are other people who say they've had surprise bills from here too.

The provider also said he was sure of my diagnosis and that the treatment he was giving me would take my pain away. I know doctors can't promise results, but this provider did. He should not have tried to convince me to get this treatment.

DO NOT GO HERE. They will rip you off.

I do not ever recommend this place. Staff is good. DR.M (ILL JUST LEAVE IT AT THAT) has no respect for his patients. He is always late on appointments. Doesn't seem to care that we have lives and jobs too. He makes you feel like you need him more so he will take his sweet time to do things for him first. worst dr. ever!!!!! all 5 appointments Ive been to at 8:15am I havent gotten seen before 9am ever. Un called for.
Either respect your patient's pain and time or dont practice at all. I usually go to Cinnamon Creek but it was his idea that I go see him 1st thing in Stone Oak office. But again, no respect and always late with no apologies. Looking for another Dr.

Tricare patients, if you are referred here, request a new referral. The worst patient care I have ever received. I had a procedure on 6/15/23 and was told my three prescriptions would be called in and to pick them up on my way home. They weren't there, so I called the clinic and was told they have 72 for refills. I told them repeatedly that they weren't refills, they were new prescriptions, didn't matter. Nothing was called in until I called my treating physicians office who called the clinic and then they only sent in one of the prescriptions they were supposed to do. I've called into their refill line and left a message with everything they requested, gave them more than the required 72 hours, and they still weren't put in. Have been calling the office for the past two days because I am going to be out of my medication over the weekend and was told I'd have to wait up to 72 hours again, even though I told them I had already done this. Because my prescriptions are controlled, nobody will touch this, including my treating physicians office, so I'm going to have to go to an ER this weekend so I'm not in debilitating pain. No empathy, poorly managed office! I've already submitted a complaint to the Texas Medical Board and Tricare.

Worst run company ever! I had a prior good experience with Dr Epstein several years ago but he's no longer there. When I made another appt to come back in for an evaluation/injection in Carrollton the nightmare started. My appt was made for 2 weeks from my call. I provided them with my new ins info. The day of my appt I waited 40 mins before getting called back. Dr Wong was ok and we discussed scheduling an injection in 2 weeks. The following week I was called and told "we don't take your insurance".... (In other words, we didn't bother checking before you came in, wasted your time and paid a copayment)! So now I have to start back from scratch, so I have wasted several weeks, while being in pain and a total waste of my time and copayment. I requested the copayment back. 3 weeks later, I'm still dealing with it, even though they said they "took care of it". If you try to get anyone outside of the customer service supervisor, Jon to speak to no one else will come to the phone because they're all ""busy" running "month end reports - now their excuse is they'll have to "mail me a check" because it's after "month end"! They clearly don't care about patients or their pain - it's all about $$$$$$$$$ horribly run company. By the way, if you look at the "reviews" on their website, it's clear they use a service that only post positive reviews!

this is actually san antonio's offices yes BOF UM probably fort worth, new braunfels, an all of them everywhere. I was left to go through withdrawal after pharmacy sent in routine physicians authorization for refill for Lyrica. 1-10-23 I had just had a cervical spine epidural 12-18-22. So I had just seen them recently. NOTHING ran out went through what I thought was covid, flu, oh realized WITHDRAWAL. phoned 1-16-23 WTF NOTHING WE can do you need to see dr. for refill 2-14-23 we got our earliest opening. CHEWED SOME BUTT CHEWED SOME MORE BUTT put on hold while she talked to a PA I happened to think is one of the few people working there because of a genuine calling to be a healthcare worker NOT JUS FOR THE MONEY. Got appointment for next morning. He thought it best since I QUIT cold turkey not to refill that medication since I was already on a similar one. see another P.A. prescribed the Lyrica to boost her footprint at practice knowing I was already on something else that covered that base, but hell WTF why not? the prompt says my review is looking epic lmao? it is! If I could find a new place tomorrow I'd never go back!
