True & John Nails

Spent a week in Elizabethtown to visit Kentucky's Capitol, Mammoth Caves, and other sites... and needed a mani and pedi ASAP!

I called in Thursday and got an appointment for Saturday at 2 pm which was confirmed right away via text.

Then, I got another text on Saturday at 1:10 pm saying "Linda is free now, can u come in early" so I was there at 1:40 and she started my pedi immediately.

The salon is very cozy with 2 chairs for pedicures and 3 nail stations for manicures. There were 2 ladies and a man working there.

Linda was amazing. She listened to my requests and did what I asked for. She was also very gentle and her massages were worth every penny. The chair massage was very good too.

1.5 hour and $93 ($3 credit card fee) later, I was on my way.

Traveling the country, I've had better and worse pedis and manis... this nail shop's customer service and gel mani/pedi price deserve the 5 stars.

I don't think I'll be back to this area any time soon, but highly recommend this nail salon.

Both True & John are excellent at nails. Had a hard time finding a good nail salon after moving here. I can say that I enjoy calling this nail salon home.

This will definitely be my go to nail place. They took their time and did very clean work. Although they do accept card, they do have a fee for it. So I would bring cash if you do mind that being added. Prices aren't too high when comparing them to other nail salons, it's the same amount as usual. Not rough on your hands or anything.

Pros: Clean work, takes their times, cute color choice.

Cons: Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Definitely going back!! $55 coffin shaped full gel set in ash rose....Extremely friendly, they take their time, and pay major attention to detail...Make sure to book an appointment!!!

I may have struck gold! I've tried many of the local nail salons and this one is the hidden gem! I had called days prior to set an appt (love places that do appts!) and explain what I was looking for and what I would be expecting. True assured she could fulfill my requests and today the proof was in the pudding!
First, I was in the chair at my appt time (appreciated bc I don't want my time wasted) so that was a plus. I've sat in salons and that's time you don't get back. True did a fabulous job! She did my pedicure w/ 1 sculpt nail and full acrylic set with gel/shellac polish & designs. She did not rush like I've experienced at other salons, I appreciated the time she put into my visit. My hands & feet feel completely brand new! It's been a few hours and I'm not feeling any snags, cuticle cuts, or sharp edges. She, so far, had been the best I've experienced.

So, got to give True & John kudos for taking care of me on Friday. And thanks to whom ever cancelled.
I had cracked nail, not chipped, cracked, where the tip bends and the nail cracks across the nail bed; nail emergency to me. My appt wasn't til next week, but I knew my nail would not last. I called and explained my urgency to True. Unfortunately she had no openings but said she'd let me know if anyone canceled. It was Friday pm and I was losing hope that I'd get a call. Of course when I got notice of a cancellation, I jumped on it. John did my repair and fill, True finished with my paint job. I stand by them being be best out of all the other local nail salons I've visited.

Best nail salon ever!!!! Came from California to visit relatives and this was thee place to go and relax and get great service! Nicest people. I'll be back in a month and this is one place I will return to!

I had an appointment for 2pm so they were running a little behind, but overall, I was more than satisfied with the job they did on my mani/pedi. A place that actually takes their time...I definitely recommend this location if you're in need of some mani/pedi love.

Phenomenal!!!! Very nice and personable. They have a large selection on nail colors to choose from. The salon is clean and nicely kept. Love that they keep up with trends and offer so much variety at affordable prices. This was my first visit and I will be back and would refer them to anyone.

I just left this nail salon less than 15 mins ago, and I must admit, that I have experienced the level of service that I received today!! The is truly one-on-one service in a relaxing environment. True took her time, and at no time made me feel rushed to choose a color or to move on the her next client. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I look forward to my next appointment.

I just moved to the area and trying to find a nail salon has not been easy but I found them on yelp and it reminds me of the salon I used to go to in Texas!! They take their time and don't rush you out they make sure there is enough time between appointments!! I've found my new salon and the best part is they do ombré which I love!!!
