I had a spa moved from one house to another and they did a very good job every step of the way I would highly recommend this company if you need to move or dispose of a hot tub.

Just like the name- Tow Guys and a Spa Dolly showed up on time.
Then like surgeons drained the remaining water and disconnected the electric. Loading the Spa on to their Dolly and away through my yard about 400 feet, then navigated through a gate and onto their trailer.

These guys are the best! Customer service is spot on and so super helpful! Moving along is stressful but with two guys and a spa dolly you don't have to worry about your hot tub! Very smooth transition....Thank you!

UPDATED REVIEW: The company responded on 6.22.2023 to my initial review. They said they did not charge us for the move from WI to Chicago. They did. The charge was modified from $750 for the move to $600 if we paid in cash. This was paid when the hot tub was delivered to it's destination in Chicago (sadly I was not there to inspect it). We were told we would received a paid invoice from the workers, which we did not-so there is no record of this transaction.
Payment set aside, my father-in-law does not argue, he is the kindest man and very quiet. He made an observational comment that the first movers kept the cover on the hot tub during the move. The first move was done in a residential neighborhood in 25 mph areas, not out of state on the highway which we hired this company to do. I love my FIL dearly and this accusation of his character is truly the most upsetting to me.
This company admitted fault after learning their employees did not follow protocol and "worked" with us to get us a replacement lid (see screen shot of message from my phone from January-a month after the initial move). They kept making promises to replace the cover or refund us...and never delivering, until they stopped responding altogether; which is why I wrote the first review. Jim, the husband, said he would come to our house on multiple occasions to deliver a new cover, which he never did (not fun waiting at home on a weekend for someone who repeatedly never shows up). I never heard from them since my first review until they responded on 6.22.2023, which is why I am updating this response with screen shots as proof showing they were "trying" to make it right, only to never be heard from again.
FIRST REVIEW February of 2023. We utilized this company to move our hot tub. They damaged our hot tub in the move. We have pictures to support our claim and the owners admitted their crew did mess up and not follow protocol. Anna and Jim said they would pay for the repairs and were very responsive and nice about it, up until now (it has been a couple months and our patience is finished). They no longer respond to our calls or messages. They only take payment via cash or zelle, so you can't contest with a credit card company. They were quick to schedule a date to move our spa (less than a week notice), but not good about any follow-up once they are paid. They have so many excuses (like what others have mentioned). Again, Our employees are instructed to not argue with a customer if they insist on a hot tub or pieces of a hot tub being moved a certain way. They weren't about to get in an argument anymore then already had ensued. The employees have a protocol to follow on every job and we move the hot tub the same on every job. You said yourself if your father-in-law had instructed them to move the hot tub in that manner that you would admit fault on that end. YOU DON'T EVEN MENTION WHAT WAS DAMAGED IN THE HOT TUB MOVE. IT WAS THE COVER CLIPS AND THE COVER BECAUSE YOUR FATHER-IN-LAW INSISTED IT BE MOVED ON TOP WHEN MY EMPLOYEES TOLD THEM THAT'S NOT HOW WE DO IT. HE INSISTED AND WAS DIRECT ABOUT IT. MY EMPLOYEES ARE INSTRUCTED NEVER TO ARGUE WITH A CUSTOMER SO THEY DID AS TOLD AND IT CAME TO YOU IN OBVIOUS CONDITION. MAYBE YOU CAN REEVALUATE YOUR REVIEW INSTEAD OF MAKING IT LOOK LIKE WE BROKE YOUR TUB BECAUSE WE DIDN'T. HAD WE MOVED IT OUR WAY, NO DAMAGE WOULD HAVE INCURRED AT ALL. This has gotten out of control with your reviews over something that could have been prevented had you not Just trying to get a free cover. My husband offered to do it against my judgment. We have new protocols in place now due to this outlandish review over cover clips because your father-in-law wanted the hot tub moved a certain way as your last hot tub movers moved it which was not us by the way. We do not Move hot tubs with a cover on for long distance moves. They did not want to argue with him so they moved it the way he insisted it be moved because he thought that they were doing it wrong. If he had left them alone and they would have moved the hot tub how they are instructed to do we wouldn't even be having this conversation right now. My husband was going to give you a new cover just two appease you but after all these negative reviews over everything. You've cost us more then it's worth. Sometimes the customer's not always right. And in this case the only reason there was damage to the tub was because of instructions from your father-in-law and the guys did not want to argue with him. They tried to tell him why we move the hot tub cover the way we do and he would not listen and insisted it be moved on top of the cut tub instead of how we always move our hot tubs. This is not our fault. The damage was caused due to instructions on YOUR pickup end. OUR NEW PROTOCOLS ARE THAT WE MOVE THE HOT TUB OUR WAY SINCE WE ARE THE PROFESSIONALS. IF IT IS INSISTED TO BE MOVED A DIFFERENT WAY THEN WE ARE TO REFUSE THE JOB FROM NOW ON. THERE IS A REASON WE HAVE METHODS AND PRACTICES ON OUR JOB AND WE HAVE MANY MORE GOOD REVIEWS THAN RIDICULOUS ONES LIKE THIS. YOU WANT A FREE COVER, I'M SURE WE HAVE ONE AND I'M SURE JIM WOULD BE WILLING TO GIVE YOU ONE. BUT I'M NOT GOING TO ADMIT FAULT ON THIS BECAUSE IT WAS NOT OUR FAULT. SOME PEOPLE THINK THEY CAN JUST LEAVE THESE HUGE REVIEWS LIKE WE ARE BAD PEOPLE. WE ARE NOT BAD PEOPLE, THINGS HAPPEN, BUT IN THIS JOB IN PARTICULAR, WE TRIED TO DO IT THE RIGHT WAY AND WAS INSISTED WE DO IT THE WRONG WAY AND HE WASN'T HAVING US LEAVE WITHOUT IT BEING ON TOP OF THE HOT TUB, THE GUYS DID NOT WANT TO ARGUE AND UNFORTUNATELY I WAS UNABLE TO BE ON THE PHONE OR BE UP THERE ON THE JOB TO EXPLAIN TO YOUR FATHER-IN-LAW, WE DO OUR BEST TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY BUT SOME PEOPLE CANNOT BE MADE HAPPY. WE DO SIX TO EIGHT MOVES A DAY, FOR 25 YEARS AND GOING. I'M JUST NOT GOING TO BE CONTINUOUSLY BEAT UP FOR THIS ANYMORE.

I worked with Anna to get a quote and schedule. The guys called when they were 45 minutes away and when they arrived they were very professional. They worked quickly and efficiently to get our old hot tub out, it was recessed about 2 feet into the patio. It was a challenge but they had all the right equipment to get the job done.

Got a quote from Jim to move a hot tub within our town. About 3 miles apart He tells me it will be $350-$450, probably on the low side.. He was very nice on the phone. He tells me I need to contact his wife to get on the schedule so I start texting Anne/Anna. She puts me on the schedule for a week later and tells me it's going to be $650. I explain to her that Jim told me it was going to be $350-$450 so she says she will honor Jim's price of $450.
Keep in mind that I have someone patiently waiting for us to pick up this hot tub from their house. The morning of pick up they call me and say they're having truck problems and can't come. I'm not angry by any means, just disappointed because the person I'm supposed to pick up from has been waiting. I tell them 2 guys and a spa dolly that I need to check and see if the person will hold it for me. Jim and Anna/Anne confirm that they can do it Thursday. So I get confirmation from the seller that they will hold it. So I call Jim and leave a message. I text Anna/Anne and tell her that it's fine and to please give me a time frame for Thursday. No response. So I call a few times throughout the day, no answer and voicemail is full. I leave a voicemail on Jim's phone, no call back.
How unprofessional! We patiently waited for our appointment. They cancel the day of and then offer another day which we accept and then they just stop communicating? Turns out this is a common tactic with this company. We had to hire someone else and they were well aware of the price low, and "if they get to it, they get to it tactics" of 2 guys and a Spa Dolly. This company WASTED MY TIME! So many texts and photos sent to show pick up and drop off location, for what? To be blown off? They have their reviews turned off on another social media website and it's not surprising to me. They came highly recommended but I absolutely promise that anytime I see someone asking for this service I'm going to tell them how unprofessional Jim and Anna/Anne were and I'll refer them to this review.
The person we were getting our hot tub from also needed movers for the new one they were getting. They were fully aware of this company's poor service, too. I'm a totally flexible and polite person. How unappropriate. Husband had double bypass surgery. We are short staffed. I am sorry that we could not accommodate you. The words that you said I can't even imagine like why you would leave this review. We are doing the best we can as a small business and with my husband being in and out of the hospital I can't imagine why you would leave such a nasty review. Sometimes the customer is not always right. We are going through a huge ordeal with my husband's health. For you to leave this nasty review on our business hurts us big time. You can't always make everyone happy. But when it comes to someone's life, that comes first. I'm sorry you felt so much hatred towards us to leave such a detailed message of hate. This makes me sorry not only as a person as a human being who does that to someone knowing what we're going through. I'm sorry for you. Shame on you. Our other customers for over 10 years understand what Jim is going through. Shame on you for doing this detailed message shaming him for his life in the hospital.

Jim & Anna went above and beyond to help me with my hot tub move. It was my first hot tub and they spent the time advising me on setup space, care, etc. They are reliable and trustworthy. I'd highly recommend them to others.

Buyer beware. They are scammers and will keep your deposits or full purchase amounts if you give it too them. Read all the reviews not just the good ones. Please don't make a mistake like us and trust them and be out $1,000, others I have read about even more. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!
