Sam & Chris are super nice and professional! They helped me changed two garage doors and machines. Very patient and efficient! Great job!

If AHS sends this company call them and request a different company! They came out. Didn't even look at the actual problem which was the remote and wall remote and instead sent in to ahs that the door was damaged ( this was NOT the problem) the door had a little material pushed out that is easily pushed back in & the door has a couple dents but always opened. It's not about the door They sent in that we need to pay almost &500 and guess what NONE OF TJAY IS COVERED BY AHS bc they put in all the wrong things needing repaired. They are shady and liars Call someone else
They got that $100 service fee out of us but that's all they will get!
Don't let the false positive reviews fool you. Go straight to the negative ones which are all alike

Beware Before Choosing This Company: A Disappointing Experience.

I want to share my experience with this company to help others make an informed decision. Here's what happened:
Upon arrival, Sam, the technician, immediately stated that my insurance would not cover any repairs without conducting a preliminary examination.
Misdiagnosis: The primary issue with my garage was that the remotes lost connection to the motor.
Unnecessary Services and Costs: Sam insisted that a tune-up and adjustment were necessary, quoting a $400 charge. He claimed that failure to perform these services would further damage my garage door. He also mentioned that these services wouldn't be covered by insurance.
Overpriced Tune-Up: I later realized that the tune-up merely involved applying WD40 silicone spray to the rollers and hinges, which seems excessively priced.
Excessive Charges: I paid $125 for the insurance evaluation and $400 for the tune-up and wall controller replacement. After some research, I discovered that local companies offer the same services at nearly half this price.
Questionable Honesty: Throughout this experience, I felt that the company's practices were extremely dishonest.

I hope my experience provides insight and assists in making a well-informed decision about whether to do business with this company.

Service provided by Eric was awesome. He was friendly, knowledgeable, fast and honest. Can't ask for more. He fixed my issue in less than a half hour.. Thank you much!

Our garage door was having issues, it opened and shut automatically. The first time they came, they fixed it but after a few days it started to behave randomly again and we called them, they came and this time it was Eric. He immediately inspected it and changed the black lift master wall Mount at no cost. Did it quickly and seamlessly. Would highly recommend him

United Garage Doors was sent out by my home warranty company. The issue was that it would not close all the way. After going down about half way, the door would go back up. They said they needed to do a full tune up and replace all of the rollers for a cost of $350 which would not be covered under the warranty. I wasn't home and my wife told them she wanted to check with me first so we didn't have the work done. I did a quick Google search and was able to fix the problem by adjusting the force on the opener. It's been working flawlessly for the past 2.5 months so it seems they misdiagnosed the problem which was a simple adjustment of a screw.

Would give UNITED GARAGE DOORS a negative 5 stars if it was possible. My home warranty sent them out to diagnose/repair a simple problem with my small garage door and opener. After about 15 minutes the two technicians (why two? I think one was a trainee) they declared my motor was 'irreparable" and that I needed a complete system replacement. They also apparently told my home warranty company that my motor was destroyed by a "power surge", although they never mentioned this to me. This rendered my system ineligible for warranty coverage. And, "coincidentally", UNITED then offered to fix my system for a "mere" $599 (for the record, this is more than they get from a home warranty company for making the repair through them. Beginning to get the picture?).

I was suspect of UNITED's diagnosis and "power surge" story. I called my home warranty company asking for a second opinion. I specifically requested they send SAM'S GARAGE DOORS because I had dealt successfully with them before. Mike from SAM'S came out next day and declared UNITED's evaluation of my problem "inaccurate" (I won't use the words he actually used), found no evidence of a "power surge", and diagnosed/repaired my problem in about 15 minutes (it required a simple adjustment that was now covered by the home warranty).

Draw your own conclusion folks.

United Garage Doors are the best. Sam and Chris came out and gave me a fair and honest estimate. They carefully inspected my garage door and equipment. They were efficient and took the time to clean up after they finished. I was stressed and worried about the garage door and they fixed everything! I am never calling anyone but Sam and Chris at United Garage doors for all my garage door needs.

Fast, efficient & friendly. Replaced a broken spring through American Home Shield. The Tech explained more about my garage door, and let me know about maintenance options on my 15 year old without pushing them. They said it isn't necessary quite yet, but I should think about it as it was a high quality door. Super happy.

A wonderful company, excellent customer service and excellent staff. A job well done for a very good price. One word explanation for their work OUTSTANDING WORK!!!
