Up North Taxi

These people are crooks. Charged me $45.00 to take me five miles from the airport because it was late. These people need to be regulated by the city. There is no excuse for taxi companies ripping off customers like this. Every other city regulates taxi companies to prevent fraud. Traverse City needs taxi regulations to prevent scammers like this from operating within the city.

Was told at the end of the ride, from the airport to the hotel, less than a 2 mile drive that the charge was $30.00. Nice driver but a total rip off and scam. Should be regulated. Still feeling angry. Not a good look for Traverse city.

my friends and I booked taxis at 9am and 11:30 am to take us to the airport. neither taxi showed up and we each had to ask our friend and hostess to take us instead. it was a massive inconvenience. don't use this company -they are totally unreliable

Charged me $30.00 to take me from the airport to my hotel which was exactly 2.0 miles and less than a 5 minute ride. The driver was nice, but What A Rip Off! When he told me the price I about died of shock. Will never be using their services again.

I was in charge of organizing a kayaking biking brewery tour into Traverse City. I had no idea who to get for travel but after searching the web I found Up North Taxi. Tim was very accommodating to us, especially when it's hard to keep 10 guys in line. He came a little earlier for us to make a last minute time change and came later for us to enjoy the day more. He was very courteous, punctual, and interesting to talk to! I have no doubt I will enlist his services once again if I am in the area and in need of a ride!

We were trying to turn into McDonalds but the line was long and we were stuck at the entrance. They honked at us and flipped us off from the road like it was our fault that there was a massive line at McDonalds. There are four lanes on the road, you were more than welcome to move into the other lane. We didn't even make you stop, you had plenty of room to drive past us without honking and flipping us off.

Don't ride with them unless you're comfortable with your driver having road rage

Our driver Walter was fantastic. Always on time with a clean comfortable vehicle. He went above and beyond to take us several places over a fun filled weekend.

We used the taxi company for our wedding this past weekend and would highly recommend. Our driver Rebecca was, professional, on time, courteous, and the car was spotless. We had multiple pick ups and drop off, she was quick to keep picking up our guest and not make them wait. If you ever need a taxi in Traverse City I would go with them!!
