V Nails Salon

I don't live in the area, but I am here for work often, and when I find myself in need of a mani/pedi, I visit V's! The nail techs are friendly, hard-working, quick, accurate, and fun, and they work to make sure you not only get what you ask for, but that it's done well and with attention and care. They will also do your mani/pedi simultaneously, which saves on time. I am currently wearing a knee brace, and they were careful and gentle when working with that leg/foot. You can see what I asked for in the pic on the right and what I got in the other two pics (my runner's feet aren't the prettiest, but the pedi is !) Really close (polish choice was mine, so it's a little off from the pic), which is a first for me! This is my second visit, and my last mani/pedi lasted 2 1/2 weeks, and I'm a lifter and mom who does housework and carries heavy things often.

I'll be back whenever I'm in Duluth!

The people here are wonderful. They are super sweet and help to understand what you want. They give you exactly what you request and love the quality of work. The place is small but so comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.

Lesson: If you find what you need do not go looking elsewhere. Go were staff understands you and follow your instinct. Nice people but being nice does not get the job done right.

I think that I will have to find a place were English is the first language. My request went into deaf ears. I went elsewhere were they applied the SNS with a brush and the outcome was amazing, but it is too far for me, so I decided to stop here. Never again!

I wanted a fill, not a complete removal, no acetone and not a lot of sanding of the growth. The guy sanded until what was they needed to be removed, another guy came after seeing my frustration and he did a fill but acrylic, could not remember the color I selected (he removed the color chart from me with little attention to my choice, and AN HOUR LATER WHO WILL REMEMBER). I ended up spending two hours, bruised cuticles and not natural looking nails (as a guy, I need them thin) and the bottom of nail was a mess. Did I mention I paid $60 dollars?

I had to ask so many times just to get my nails the way I wanted them. Did my French tip above the line of demarcation and cut me real bad. She did 2 other toes crooked even though I asked her file them straight.

Wow. I asked on next door and was recommended to go here. What an awesome experience. Clean salon and amazing service. Megan exceeded my expectations. Will be back!!!

Don't waste your time - go somewhere else.

I came in for a nail repair and I left with my nail looking worse fixed than it was broken. Every time I told them that I didn't like it, they were rude and refused to listen

Terrible experience! Please don't go here. They are not transparent in their pricing and "add services" without any given consent. I came up to pay and they uncharged me for things I did not ask for. Not professional and very underwhelming manicure and pedicure service. Please save your money and time. I wish I could give zero stars!!

Just moved from California and tried this place not impressed. First I called and asked for availability, got here, got seated water and feet in in bowl and just sat for about 30 minutes! No jets, no communication or gel colors given! Another Customer came in got seated right away, water with jets, nails color choices and they started within 10 (btw) I'm still waiting! Then she was extremely rough my toes still hurt and it took 2 hours or so smh!!!

I came here to get my nails done for hoco, and they seated me right away. Dianne did my nails and she did an amazing job and did exactly what i asked for! ai

After I found this gem, I have always been a regular! The prices are very fair and the ladies are so sweet! I don't usually write reviews, but felt I needed to defend this family business against all these horrible reviews! I've been to this nail shop more than a handful of times and they definitely get busy, but whenever I have an appointment I usually get a lady started on me within 10 min! Quality nails takes a bit of patience ladies, plus patience is a virtue right? Obviously unfortunately most of these girls on thee reviews lack that quality. I'd honestly rather wait 10 minutes knowing that I get solid, lasting gel nails than get instant service for shabby nails that chip after a few days.

Also, they have lots of colors and the quality is amazing!! I judge a nail salon on how long my gel nails last... and they ALWAYS last 2-3 weeks before chipping here!
