Tried the brisket sandwich and it was delicious! I highly recommend the peach habanero sauce, it's absolutely fantastic. Service was great, the staff was very polite. Will definitely make it a routine to stop by for a sandwich and enjoy the view of the area by the patio at the Depot.

I stopped here for a quick lunch with my co-worker. I had a BBQ sandwich. It had lots of meat and was very delicious! They have 3 kinds of sauce for you to put on it, so there should be one that works for you. My co-worker had the meal. He really enjoyed it.

Driving down rte 11 and so happy to find Valley Pike BBQ open! We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The brisket sandwich was so lean and had a fantastic Smokey flavor. I don't know why there weren't other patrons there -- the food is so good!

Fast, simple but good BBQ. They have three sauces for u to choose from. Mac and cheese is great. Green beans too salty for me. 7.50 gets you the full meal and soda for a buck more. Make sure you take your tray behind the farmers market next door as they have a wonderful deck and patio eating areA.

Solid pulled pork and sides. Service can be slow so plan on a wait. My 8 year old pointed out that it is tasty even if they cannot spell Carolina correctly. "Banana Pudding" was the most disappointing I've ever been served outside of a pudding cup. Where were the bananas and Nilla wafers??? If those were present i could forgive the lack of meringue or a topping. Who actually serves this and charges money for it?

Stopped by this evening for a couple of pull pork dinners they were terrible...Absolute worst I have ever had I will not waste my hard earned money to visit this garbage truck .Even the macs and cheese stuck together was not worth a nickel... BUYER BEWARE

This review is for Valley Pike BBQ and the newer food truck/bus, Old School Burgers.
Upbeat and personable staff, fast service, awesome food! Also, they DO accept credit cards (both Valley Pike BBQ and Old School Burgers).
At Valley Pike BBQ, I tried the pulled pork, mac and cheese, and green bean plate with a little sauce on the side (I can't remember which sauce I tried, though. There are several options). Really, really good! Large portion sizes for a modest price.
At Old School Burgers, I tried their food on two separate occasions.
For lunch, I had their "Build Your Own" burger with lettuce, tomato, and house sauce, and some fries. I almost ordered the 1/2 lb, but decided to get the 1/3 lb and was happy that I did because it was more than enough food.
For breakfast, I had the Ham, Egg, and Cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and house sauce. And I have to say -- probably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had! Lots of flavor and very filling without being too heavy. I was super happy to see that they left the yolk of the egg a little runny, just the way I like it.
The only recommendation I have is for the Old School Burgers truck to add more toppings to the "Build Your Own" part of the menu. Other than that --
Valley Pike BBQ - 5 STARS!
Old School Burgers - 5 STARS!
Overall great experience with their customer service and the quality and quantity of their food. It also helps that one of the guys that makes the food at the Old School Burgers truck is pretty darn cute, too.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
