I'm so happy that I finally found a Dr that I feel comfortable with and someone that is honest. I'm so happy that he's in my network. The doctor is very good. I couldn't ask for anything else in a doctor.

There is no doubt in my mind driving the additional milage, and commuting from Los Angeles to Optum Care, Arcadia, where Dr. Castilla has his practice. I trust his expertise and sincerely appreciate his humane nature while I am able to relate to him as an individual. Office staff is efficient and professional. My personal time is both valued and respected as waiting time in reception area is minimal. Prescriptions are electronically sent to my pharmacy, and I am able to pick them up in a promptly manner.
In addition, Dr. Castilla diligently replies to my inquiries in a reasonable time, either via phone call or patient portal e-mail.

We've been patients at this clinic for a while now. The doctor is knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and professional. He takes his time and listens to us. Dr Castilla is very passionate about his work and your progress! The staff are super friendly and courteous! They work fast. Wait time in the lobby is minimal. Great place!

Out of all the doctors I've had in my life, Dr. Castilla is definitely my favorite!! I had originally planned to meet with another doctor in his office that I was referred to by a friend. When that doctor was overbooked, I was offered the choice between waiting a month for an appointment or meeting with Dr. Castilla instead. Thank goodness for that - here's a few reasons why I can't picture working with another doctor:

1) Whenever we meet, he always listens very closely and makes sure he has a clear picture of what brought me in for a visit before providing prescriptions or diagnoses. So many of the other doctors I've had cut me off before hearing the whole story that I didn't think this was possible - ha!
2) He clearly wants his patients to feel empowered with their treatment. I always leave his office feeling like I understand what is going on with my body and like my concerns and questions are important.
3) I know he's thinking from a "whole patient" perspective instead of just signing prescriptions and moving on. He's helped me with my physical health and exercise routines as supplements to my medical care.
4) And lastly, he's very punctual and fast with prescriptions/paperwork - he even follows up when I drop the ball or forget to return a call. I think his office staff probably deserves some credit for that as well.

I'm really happy I found Dr. Castilla and plan to keep him as my primary care provider for as long as my insurance plans allow. I think he exemplifies how a good doctor should keep their practice. Thanks Dr. Castilla!

i was a recent & former patient,who decided not to have him as a doctor,anymore. because of his assistant: kia,( yes ,that's her name-kia!) she likes playing mind games over the phone, (in regards to asking for prescription refills & complaining about her poor service.) she refuses to give any info. to my pharmacy,(lorena pharmacy.) she refuses to pass any messages to the doctor,(on my behalf.) and refuses to let me speak to management. last time i was at the office, was april 2018. i won't be surprised,if still working,there!
