We specialize in good old fashioned customer service and unique gifts for everyone on your list. Not just the major lines like Brighton, Spartina 449, Vera Bradley, and Fresh Produce Clothing, but trendy lines like Simply Southern T-Shirts and Luca & Danni bracelets too, Lots of lotions and fragrances from Inis, Crabtree & Evelyn, Burts Bee, Nake Bee, Caswell-Massey, Thymes and more. We also do personalization (monogramming and embroidery) of all our products and yours too. Most items are done while you wait except on Wednesdays and Sundays. We also do Vinyl stickers for glassware, beverage bottles, phones, laptops, etc. (any smooth surface.) These can be done on most days. Owners Debbie and Steve Frene take great pride in offering unparalleled customer service and making sure that every visitor to Berlin is welcomed with a warm smile and treated with the kind of small town Eastern Shore hospitality that keeps them coming back year after year since 1994.

The shop Victorian Charm is listed as one of the main stores in Berlin and once you enter the colors, sights and products are plentiful. Its worth a visit even if you don't buy anything. Lots of gift items and clothes to fit.

This is a cute place to shop, owned by a friendly, lovely and welcoming woman. The place is filled with a variety of items to fancy everyone's taste. The owner helped us with our clothing and accessories selection. We had a toddler and a teen and she was very helpful and kind to us. Was not bothered by the toddler and we spent two ours at the shop.

I thought maybe it was just an after Christmas changed as things are laying all over the floor then I heard the store had been sold. Many favorite brands were gone but some remained. I'll check the store again when we visit next time.

My mother and I gave Victorian Charm a second chance. We still were not greeted when we entered the store. However, we did meet the lovely Darris who helped us and was charming.

Thanks for the feedback Andrea and we are so sorry. We sent you an apology but when spell checking it, I chopped off the first half of the message explaining that this was not acceptable behavior from our staff. Ironically, we were on vacation that week. (At least they were nice to your mom.) New monthly training programs and written policies are now in effect. Thanks again for your feedback and we would love a second chance to show you some Victorian Charm!
Apr 23, 2011Previous reviewThey had a really fun display in the window, but that's about it. I was extremely disappointed. Berlin is such a cute little town and everyone was friendly until this shop. No one greeted us or asked if we needed help. They sell vera bradley and charms, which are items you can buy everywhere. So, really there is no point to stopping in this shop.
My mother accidentally left her glasses in the shop and they were nice to her when she went back in, but a little late to get back in my good graces.

They definitely take advantage of the fact they're near an ocean town, so they carry lots of nautical themed accessories, etc although they also carry favorites like Vera Bradley and Brighton jewelry I believe.
Steve, one of the owners, was super nice and helped me narrow down what I wanted and then helped me find it since it was merchandised on one of their mannequins! He was friendly and made small talk with everyone; I can't think of a single bad thing to say!
They have a children's clothing area toward the back of the store as well as a men's bookshelf o' goodies toward the middle so you can even grab a pack of jack Daniels pecans for the man in your life (or for yourself!)

The staff was very helpful to me when I wanted to purchase the bag as a surprise for her over the phone. Great place, friendly staff, in a great small town.
