Vulcano Pizzeria & Restaurant

Not even worth one star. We ordered through menu log. Our order was over an hour late with no phone call.when we tried calling the restaurant, they would not answer. We then decided to order a different meal from a different restaurant only to have the order from Vulcano pizza delivered just as we submitted a new order. There were items missing from the vulcano pizza order and the delivery person refused to get the missing items. Tried calling the restaurant again but no answer. We emailed menulog and asked for a refund. That took forever because they couldn't get In Contact with the restaurant. The restaurant refused to give a refund or reimburse the missing items. I spoke directly to the restaurant after hearing this decision and they asked why I waited 3 weeks to contact them. I explained that I ordered through menu log and they were waiting for a response from the restaurant . Meanwhile the woman was yelling obscenities in the background in Italian (yes, I speak Italian too) and then the guy hung up on me. When I tried calling back they wouldn't answer and then got their junior employee to talk to me and say they had gone even though I could hear what they were telling her in the background. I am absolutely disgusted in their lack of professionalism and even if I couldn't get a refund they refused to honour the missing items. The "partners" seem to be very defensive even though they have made a mistake. I followed the right protocols but was treated like crap. I don't appreciate the rudeness and will certainly not be ordering from here again. Just to be clear we have ordered from here several times before without an issue
But that doesn't seem to be taken into account by the company. I have written evidence of my attempt at seeking a resolution through menulog. In spite of this they think I am wrong because I didn't call them directly. Customer service is clearly not high on their priority list when it comes to dispute resolution. Save your money and go anywhere else.

This place is my saviour lol the best local pizza joint in the area, great selection of pizzas , great deals very cheap home delivery , the staff are extremely friendly and always helpful . You have to try the "godfather" or the "the boss" pizza OMG

1.5 hours pass, call to chase up where my food is and apparently they 'were called by me to cancel the order' which of course is false.

Since I ordered online I then had to call the eatnow website call center and get them the issue me a refund as the restaurant still had my payment for the meal even though they claim it was cancelled.

The staff were unapologetic, and flippant in stating that some random person called to cancel the order when I asked where my food was.
No effort was made to send out food now that my family had been waiting for 1.5 hours and counting, no effort was made to assist with a refund.

Nothing done by the staff to make up for my waiting 1.5 hours and counting (plus 30 minutes more on call centre calls making sure I'm refunded), no apologies, no effort made to make up for such awful service.

I'm not alone in this happening either if you look at the reviews on online ordering sites for the restaurant, this has happened to multiple people. I would not recommend them for delivery, or given the service quality for a customer I'm unable to recommend them even for people wanting to eat in.
