Wandering Adventures

I had a great experience with Wandering Adventures going on a one hour group Kayak tour of Coffee Pot bayou in St. Pete. Christine and Robbie were the tour guides and did a fantastic job entertaining and making sure everyone had a fun and safe time. I would definitely recommend them.

These guys are TOP-NOTCH!!! I can't say enough good things about them, and highly recommend using them for your Kayak adventures!

We had tried to book a couple times last summer, only for someone to call back the day before and cancel due to low-tide. While really disappointing, they were SO KIND about it and I really appreciate and respect that they pay that close attention to the tides. I would not enjoy having to constantly get out of the kayak to push it over a sand-bar over and over again. I would much rather wait for a higher-tide day, where i can truly enjoy my paddle inside the boat. The fact that they want to ensure you enjoy the experience rather than going anyways just to bring in the money makes me respect them so much.

Fast forward to this summer, we've been able to go on a couple trips with them (the Shell key paddle) and it's been great all-around!! They have everything ready when you get to the launch site, they help ya get loaded and pushed out, they're super friendly and interactive, they navigate and help out cool things, they let you do your own thing once you're at the island, and then when you're done they pack the boats up and that's it!!

Moral of the story: You can just tell that they are PASSIONATE about this and that it's not just all about makin' a buck. They're so friendly, helpful, etc and it makes me not even want to try any others! They have a customer for life in me.

I have taken several tours with Wandering Adventures and have always had a great time. Christine and crew take care of all the transportation and movement of kayaks. They do a thorough safety and weather briefing. Communication is excellent. They are very knowledgeable local guides. Go! You will have a good time!

If you have never been behind this lady then you have not been on a Wandering Adventures kayak tour. Christian is so knowledgeable about the area. She will narrate and answer all the questions she can about wildlife and the area. If you are trying to stay away from the crowds of season then look her up. Peaceful and a beautiful way to see another side of Florida.

We LOVE Wandering Adventures!! Christine and her team are so fun to get on the water with (especially when she brings her little dog, he's hilarious), very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, where the fun sea creatures hang out, etc. Her kayaks are clean and well kept and she makes sure everyone knows how to be safe and handle the equipment. I love the variety of launch points, the variety of trip lengths, and the kindness of the staff. I recommend them to everyone, and everyone enjoys the experience!

I booked a tour with Wandering Adventures not long ago to paddle through the mangroves with a small group of friends. I have my own kayak but was visiting from out of state and many of my friends do not own any which is why we opted to do a guided tour for the day. I have to say that it was one of the most fun experiences I've had. Our guide Christine was the most friendly and outgoing person. She was such a pleasure and was very attentive to everyone. She seemed very knowledgeable and catered to the skill level of everyone in the group.

I personally have nothing to complain about other than the unpredictable Florida weather. As conditions worsened the trip plan had to be altered for safety reasons which was the responsible thing for them to do. I would gladly book another tour with them again!

My friends and I ventured out tonight with Curtis and Franklin to see the Bioluminescence. We had the most amazing time. Our tour guides were so friendly and informative and certainly went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. Cant wait to go out with them kayaking again! Thanks you all so much!

You absolutely MUST go out with Wandering Adventures. They know the passageways well and make sure to place safety first. It was my first time kayaking really. I went once at a park and it was horrible because the weather changed suddenly, making it to shore was very hard. That was enough to turn me off from kayakung, but then I decided to give it a go in natural waterways graced by mangroves. Mind you, I'm not a strong swimmer. Christine helped ease any concerns right away. She was amazing from the minute I reached out. I had no care in the world, just enjoying the best of nature.

I had the best time kayaking with my husband and coming back to a beautiful surprise sunset picnic with candles, a cheese board, fruit n veggies and champagne It was absolutely perfect I will remember that adventure forever thank you!!!!
