Never do business with Western Truck
Insurance. They're complete criminals
I dealt with Edward Zahnle and he tried
to beat me out of $4200. I found three
other owner operators that had the
same experience as I did. Go straight
to Lancer or Progressive. Western
Truck Insurance will try to take you for
everything that you planned to save for
your family stay away. I'm the owner of
Lewis Transportation LLC. Don't learn
the hard way. Stay far away from
Western Truck Insurance. If you ask
any questions about pricing they'll try
to make you feel as if you're a
problematic customer. If they can't
answer questions that's strike 1,2, and

By far this is the worst agency ever. Everything is double the price. Edward Zahnle should be arrested for taking advantage of people. I tried to insure one truck and the biggest mistake I made was tell him that I'm just starting out. Edward took my information and told me he would market my it. He never told me which insurance company accepted my driving record nor was he willing to discuss better rates. I went to Progressive on my own and found out that Edward Zahnle was charging me double the price for insurance. Stay away from Western Insurance.

Our long-time friend referred us to work with Lynn Hurtado at Western Truck Insurance. We were previously working with an agent at another company (known company in area) for nearly a month after we supplied all the information they needed from us, we never received quotes and our time was ticking as far as trying to get our Authority in place before FMCSA dismissed our application. Lynn has been amazing and very responsive since day one. Once she got us our quote to haul "General Freight", we had to change things up last minute and had her get more extensive quotes to get us approved for "Chemical". She came back in just several days with our affordable Haz-Mat insurance quote and even went above and beyond by referring someone she knew who could help obtain our Haz-Mat permits. We wish we hadn't waste so much time in the beginning with the other insurance company but going through that experience actually makes us really appreciate the excellent service we received from Lynn. If you are new to getting your Authority or you could be trying to get back in the game since your last Authority decades ago, there is hope; you just have to work with someone who really knows what they are doing...give Lynn a call.....yes, I would specifically ask for her even though the few staffs in her office is also really nice to work with also.

The most disgusting service ever!!!! Agents are never available!!!! I leave messages all the time I never get a call back which is ridiculous!!! A truck driver shouldn't have to go through a big hassle to get ahold of their agent!!!!! Which is why I would strongly recommend not going thought them at all!!! Go through transwide insurance in Ontario all great agents specially mine her name is Massiel she will go out of her way to be help and has even worked on a holiday just for me to be able to sign paper! I love it there!

I called several insurance companies to get quote for my insurance, none of them were helpful, not even giving me a quote. Some gave extremely high quotes. I called western Truck insurance and within same day, i was given quote, and Lynn helped me save at least $10k on my insurance. Every time i want to set uo with new loads, she has been really helpful and efficient. She has been fantastic and huge clutch! Looking forward to work eith her for long time! Definitely recommended

Does not do what they say. Never added insurance for my cargo. I pick up 26-40 loads per day and store some in storage yards and deliver some if customers can take. Im now told nothing insured unless truck is attached to load. Thats impossible with 13 trucks. I always have 100+ loads out daily in customers and storage yards. They new this from the start and did not add that part. That was done to get us in.
