Get the pizza! Veronica Vaughn is delightful. Good value for the money and decent beer list.

Service= Top notch. Joe our server was very attentive as well as the Lady with Rabbit headband!
Food = excellent Brussels sprouts, kung pao chix pizza (Detroit/deep dish), Ricky Ricardo aka Cuban pulled pork sandwich, Canoli flight and banana foster to cap it up
Drinks= Moscow mule w/ Tito's. Would prefer a bit more Tito's to really taste it.
Location= great hidden spot but tons of parking spaces and garage just beside it
Would I recommend? Heck yeah!
Would I come back? Definitely!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 8, 2024
Took my team for happy hour. For drinks they had merlot (they enjoyed) and I had an orange crush (just ok).
We started with Brussels Crowe, crab poutine, and cheese bread. They were all delicious. Then we shared a Veronica Vaughan pizza. I really enjoyed it despite the fact that I actually didn't taste any of the hot honey that was supposedly included.
Dessert was the real star. We shared (and I am currently eating the remainder of) caramel crunch frappe panna cotta - ah-mazing. And the oatmeal cream pie cookie was also outstanding
Our waitress Hannah was adorable - very attentive and funny and sweet.
Frederick is a bit off the beaten path for me, but I would return if in the area.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 12, 20241 check-in
Four of us arrived here on a Wednesday night at 5 pm. We were the last to leave at 10pm when they closed. That's how much fun we had, how good the pizzas were, how nice the staff was. If you like pizza, this is the place to try. If you like beer, too, then you got to check this place out. The smash burger sliders were delicious as well. You'll eat two of the slices of your pizza before asking for a box. It was a joy to eat the leftover pizza for lunch the next day we are coming back.

Tucked away in an alley, really great spot for a drink or full meal. You can order via toasttab and it's very convenient. Service was quick and the espresso martini is wonderful. The fries are awesome. I had the house salad, filling and refreshing. Parking just outside the restaurant is good. This is a good place for lunch or dinner.

The food is good but I'll never be OK with ordering a sit down meal from a QR code. It takes away all the ambiance from going out to eat. Waitress seemed to be inconvenienced that she had to bring us drinks. It was a bummer because we came here the first year they opened several times and it was wonderful. The vibe isn't the same anymore.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 26, 2018Previous reviewHave been in several times, and have always had great service.
They are always busy, especially on the weekends, so be prepared to get a beeper and walk around downtown until a table is ready.
They have an amazing selection of beer and wine, as well as whiskeys and Bourbons. My husband also got to take home a crowler of their beer, which I thought was pretty cool.
Although I want to be adventurous and try new things on their menu, I always get the fried chicken sandwich. It is incredible. Very messy, due to the honey, but so worth it.
Their homemade Choco taco desserts are the best!
This is a really great date night or double date night place. Just a great overall restaurant to take friends or family. - Mar 13, 2024Updated review
They do these two right- every single time. And I consider myself the Queen of Crushes and Smashes...an aficiado of sorts. WRG is now beginning to be the spot I take all my friends to eat and drink when they visit.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jan 22, 2024Previous reviewSmashed that Smash burger. It is one of the best - flavorful patty and creamy sauce. I come back again and again for this burger. No picture this time due to the inhaling of said burger.
I absolutely love the cucumber and feta salad. That feta- is so creamy and the dressing is a perfect compliment to the dish.
We also tried the breakfast poutine ...it was perfect. The saltiness of the chorizo and the creaminess of the egg yolk.
Yes, please.Nov 8, 2022Previous reviewI am NEVER disappointed and the place continually reinvents the way the do business and what's on the menu. I had a few orange crushes to sip on and got the smash burger. I don't like burgers with big meaty Patties- this was like an oversized White Castle cheeseburger- thin, crispy edges and flavorful. I had cucumbers and feta salad instead of fries and I could have had a whole bowl of that! Seriously- I would have.
My friends all ordered a Detroit style pizza and I think most people in the place did! I will come back to try that next.
Don't even hesitate - drinks, service, and food are top notch. One of my top places to meet with friends.Apr 14, 2020Previous reviewIf you are looking for something that is different from the rest, White Rabbit is interesting stop downtown. I didn't make it upstairs ...and the downstairs has limited seating- but I would make reservations because it can get crowded. Very European, cozy pub vibe.
We enjoyed a whiskey drink that was one of the specials- it was good, but it was why I rated it a 4 instead of 5- I could only drink one - maybe a little too different- a drink trying to hard...Same with my dish- it was a Korean dish, and it felt like all the components didn't belong to the same dish.
I would go back.... - 14923337Apr 13, 2024
We decided to have dinner on a Saturday evening after walking around the area. The restaurant was busy so we decided to sit outside. We ordered poutine fries, smash burger and pizza. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waiter was attentive to our table.

YES YES YES.
Misplaced Michigander for the better part of 22 years. Grew up just outside of Detroit and have always loved Detroit-style pizza. Over the past few days I had been craving it and today hubs and I decided to make it happen.
Based on reviews I narrowed it down to Little Beast and White Rabbit. Well, once I realized the Little Beast in Reston was closed I opted for the White Rabbit in Fred-neck.
Holy. Mother. Of. God.
Got the award winning crust on the VV pizza. This was absolute perfection. The crust was crispy with the pepperoni crown...and crunchy on the bottom but pillowy soft in the center. The sauce was perfect - not too much and had the best flavor...tanginess was on point. The cheese and the pepperoni was top quality. The hot honey was just enough to beautifully counter the saltiness of the cheese / pepperoni and cut the acidic nature of the tomato sauce. This pizza is heaven. And it captured all the essence of awesomeness that is Detroit pizza.
Thank you White Rabbit Gastropub for being the epitome of awesome. It was worth the hour drive and we will be back again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
