Never much of a wait. Good haircuts. Friendly people. Somewhat cheap. Doesn't care that you don't know what you want.

William's is the only place I'll be getting my hair cut. Ever. Price is extremely reasonable, never have to wait long, and the straight razor & hot towel finish may be the best thing ever. I don't have a favorite barber because everyone is amazing. The best traditional barber shop in the Charleston area. Hidden gem!

Wanted to take my 8 year old son here for a haircut. He was next in line to get a haircut but someone jumped in front of us. I spoke up but was ignored so decided to just leave instead of making a scene. Won't be coming back here again.

Just moved to town and tried to find a barber shop. Gave this place two chances. First time I got an alright haircut. The fade was pretty crooked but for $10 I'd let it slide.

Second time my fade was super high. Not a medium like I asked and the hard part is damn moses parting the seas. It's terrible. Its crooked. It's not a part it is as if the barber slipped and made it a half inch wide

Lady had a heavy hand for sure.

the worst haircut i have EVER recieved in my life. i can't believe i actually paid someone to let do this to me and i didn't do or say anything about it.

no Clippercide or disinfectant used. a HUGE pet peeve of mine, if not something expected most people.

it was a complete rush job only to hurry onto the next person. even with my shorter hair, haircuts are at least 15 mins long. this took 5 minutes, so i IMMEDIATELY knew something was wrong.

just look at the picture i've included. does that look acceptable to you?

My husband literally just came home with the worse haircut EVER right before he has important command check out meetings, how can you people advertise on providing military standard haircuts & let my husband walk out with different looking fades on top of one another?! No only that but his left side does not have as much fade as the right (he's head is two different shades of black hair!) ‍ His sideburns are not even the same length and to make it even worse the person cut it so short, there is no fixing this.

I see that a lot of the negative reviews are from a few years ago at least. Maybe they had reason to feel that way then, but as of recently this place has been absolutely superb! Kind service, low cost, and a good cut. Could not possibly ask for more

Their haircut quality has gone significantly down in the past few years. Having since returned to the Charleston area, I was looking forward to coming here as a regular again.

As of late, I have no desire to give them my business..

Here is why.

1) They only have one person that can do a straight razor face/beard shave, and they are NEVER there. 0/2 successful attempts.

2) Having returned to this area, and trying to be a loyal customer, I gave this outfit several opportunities, but never have I actually left this place satisfied with my haircut. I used to, long ago, but not anymore.

I will find another barber shop to frequent, or I'll start giving Great Clips my business again, if the local companies just can't cut it.

Great place to get a Haircut in town the people there are always very nice been going here for over 15 years, The service and price you cannot beat. always get a nice haircut and great conversation cannot be beaten. I look forward to going and enjoy this place every time.

They have great barbers as well as not so great ones. I will only see one particular person which can be up to an hour or two wait. They do not do appointments and it's a free for all with no number system. The cut is only $9 and some of them will do a straight razor shave. The person I go to is hands down the best barber I've ever had. Deducted one star because it's a pain to wait.
