I was doing an event next door. Hubby picked up food at this bar. The reception was very friendly and provided a menu. Once he selected our meals for lunch, they were delivered fairly quickly.

These are to-go orders: Cheeseburger Bacon, with side order of salad. And Fish & Chips for me. The meals were delicious!

The food is okay. I like the hamburger I ordered and ate. The Greek salad was okay for a bar.
The noise level at 5-5:30 pm was so loud that I couldn't hear the man speaking, though he was seated next to me. I left so quickly after finishing, as the noise level was bothering me, that I left my water bottle on the table.

The food here is not great. It's SYSCO pub fare that's firmly in the middle of the road, so it's as good as it needs to be. It's a neglected little establishment that can't decide if it wants to hold on to its '60s and '70s kitsch like lantern light fixtures and fake roofs or turn itself into another grey lottery room like Macguffy's, O'Brien's or the dreaded Spaghetti Western. Drinks are adequate, TVs are loud, decor is provided by the distributor and the pre-midnight closing time is definitely... a choice.

But I'm giving them five stars. Why? Because if Wilson's didn't exist, its clientele would have to go elsewhere. Do you want the inhabitants of the saddest Margaritaville this side of Reno in your lovely curated taproom? Do you want them lingering around the Gorf cabinet at the arcade and making eyes at your cousin? Do you want them in your refurbished pub yelling at the bartender to put the sound up on a Packers game?

      Neither do I.

Wilson's isn't as outright dangerous as some of its down-the-street contemporaries, nor is it as miserable as this city's strip mall bars. Much like the regulars' effect on their exes, Wilson's just gives you the feeling that you could do better if you just tried a little harder.

You could've had a tastier burger, you could've drank a beer produced in this state, you could've had a cocktail prepared by a bartender who didn't have to look up the recipe on her phone and you could've enjoyed all of it without sitting under a fake NASCAR hood listening to the world's oldest blues dads debate Lindsey Buckingham vs. Neil Finn for TWO HOURS.

Wilson's is too lazy to be great and too composed to be a true dive. It's a containment unit for a middling town's most mediocre residents, and we owe it a debt of gratitude.

Dive bar for sure, but like most dive bars, you'll find some of the best food you've ever had. The mushroom back Swiss burger is amazing. Perfectly cooked and really great quality ingredients. The fries had a really great seasoning. My husband had the pastrami burger with a garden patty instead and it was just as good. 10/10 recommend.

It WILL BE LOUD. This is a place with obvious regulars. If you are looking for a calm environment, this is not the place for you. For what it is, it gets five stars.

Fantastic little place- Nothing fancy at all except for the kindness and excellent food! This is a great spot to stop for a quick bite. I had the cream of mushroom soup garlic toast and it was delectable and my husband have a clam chowder and a side salad and loved it the same. Rachel Was our waitress and was so very kind and helpful. I personally don't eat clam chowder so she checked to see if the chef had another soup on the side and provided me with this fabulous cream of mushroom soup. So if you're in the area or even not, I can check out this great spot for a great bye and help support this local restaurant!

Cool little dive bar. Awesome place to watch a game and grab a drink and some food! Great portion sizes and good prices. The tots were delicious. Drinks were STRONG.

My partner and I like to come for breakfast on the weekends. The bartender is always so sweet and the food and drinks are always on point. The portions are really large, we always have tons leftover when we both order a full breakfast. I can't wait to come back for lunch or dinner

We came in on a Sunday and had breakfast at the bar. There is really friendly people here and for a Sunday they had a lot of football games on. There was slot of people here and we could hardly find a seat. I got the Denver omelette with potatoes O'Brien along with a biscuit and gravy that believe it or not it comes with the breakfast. She got the crab omelet with the great choice they have or tomatoes and cottage cheese. My Denver omelette I got had bacon in it which is unusual. The bartenders were really nice. The bill for two of us was only $22.00 which is not too bad but we did not have any drinks. The guy I met there said they even have Texas hold'em tournaments there too..

Just what we were looking for!
Big portions, tasty food, servers were really hustling. They make an awesome mimosa which I enjoyed while watching my team score!

No thanks. Dirty. Bartender has an attitude. Food was good, that's what the one star goes to.
