this was my first time visiting with my boyfriend and i loved it. there's a wide variety of candies, candles, incense, signs, etc. the woman working was very nice and offered us a small box to carry our goodies. we spent about $26 and got about 10 items. the store is very welcoming and i will definitely be going back.

i didn't take many pictures because i didn't intend to write a review but after leaving i decided to :)

i have been to this store a few times to purchase candles. I should have checked previous receipts as it appears this guy charges sales tax way above 8%. candles added up to $161.00 and i paid $181.23 total using my debit card. I did the math and $20.23 add on for tax exceeds 8 %. I called the store to ask about the charge and was greeted by an answering machine narrated by the owner Mr Non-Personality giving directions to the store ONLY and the machine does not take messages. How convenient. I will not be spending my $$$ at this place any longer. Someone in town told me the guy probably added on a $10.00 fee for using my debit card. Scam.
Also, The owner should hire someone who knows how to be friendly to the customers. He certainly lacks that ability.

A huge variety of unique scented candles and novelty candies but horribly over priced. It also was not a very welcoming store. I couldn't even tell you which person in there was working opposed to shopping so I had no idea who to ask if I had questions. Nobody greeted us or asked if we needed help finding anything. Definitely do not plan to go back.

Kitschy place full of bulk candy, Amish canned and packaged goods, and candle varieties. Definitely a novelty place, but the highest quality goods other than oils and candles seem to be the incense and Amish packaged foods. Considering it's based in the middle of nowhere, I'd say it's a great selection and attraction for the area.

This is a local candy and candle shop - nothing more. we came in with high expectations but the website is reflective of the interior. We still had fun picking up rainbow popcorn and candy cigarettes... Novelty items you can't find everywhere. And my kids got to watch them pour wax and learn how candles are made. Worth it if you are already nearby but not worth a special trip. They wouldn't let my toddler swap out broken rock candy (99cents) saying she wouldn't have picked it up if it was broken. I spent a lot of money there so that was a little disappointing. Oh well. I'd rather go to Dylan's Candy Bar or Ricky's Candy, Cones and Chaos. Those are quality places.

We came across this shop accidentally. The owners were pleasant and the candy was plentiful.

I would be giving four to five stars except: when we got the candy home, everything tasted like candles. It smelled like candles and tasted vaguely waxy. Even days after opening the candy, the taste and smell remains.

I understand the reasoning- it is a candle shop, after all. But it's a bit off-putting to eat wax-flavored candy.

don't buy the candy here. there's a lot of it and this place is in the middle of nowhere, so it sits around for a while, and with a ton of candles in the store some of the fragrance gets absorbed into the candy and it tastes like you're eating soap! i've been wanting to come here for a long time but never really had the motivation to go. i finally stopped in and there were a lot of cool candies there, stuff i haven't seen in ages, but from the stuff i heard about this place i was actually kind of expecting more. i thought it was a bit pricey, but i understand it's a specialty store so the prices are kind of on par for that, and honestly i wouldn't have been upset about the price if it weren't for the awful taste that tainted over half of the stuff i bought.

another selling point for this place is that they have Philly Sales' old pop corn machine. a couple years ago my mom went here and bought a bag. she brought it home and let me try some and it really wasn't anything special, she said it's not the same stuff they had back in the day, and i trust her opinion seeing as how she used to work there. and of course it's only available in big bags that would take someone a whole week to eat, leaving you with stale popcorn after a day or so.

also, if you're allergic to fragrance, don't go in here. i have the allergy and i was itchy for a good while after leaving here.

another thing i thought was odd is that they accept EBT/food stamps. now i'm no high and mighty conservative who thinks they have the right to tell people what to eat, but come on, all this place has is candy and condiments! if you're on welfare this is NOT the place to come for sustenance, go to the supermarket and buy yourself some steak!

      not worth the trip.
