I had a great experience at the Volkswagen dealership. Nate, the sales, and Christian, the finance manager, provided outstanding service. Nate was very knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect car. Christian explained the financing options in detail and made the paperwork process hassle-free. I highly recommend this dealership, thanks to Nate and Christian's exceptional service.

Just want to give a quick s/o to Mustafa! He made my car buying experience smooth and didn't give off the standard super pushy salesperson vibe. He was honest, knowledgeable, and truly helped to get me a good deal. If you stop by Winn, ask for him! On another note, I love my Tiguan.

Feeling like a winner at Winn!
Shoutout to Jose from helping us buff out the scratches and little marks from the car we purchased. Jose in detail found all the spots we needed to fix up before we even got the chance to point it out! Now that's a pro!

The owner, John, provided exceptional service. I entered with an urgent need to purchase a car, and John, along with his son Josh, were incredibly helpful and friendly. Been coming here for all my maintenance and service needs since I got my VW. I never had a problem until my last routine oil change. Picked up my car after paying for the service and found my rear view mirror decor tag mangled and tossed in the cup holder. Went back inside to the service counter to ask about the cause of this wreckage, and I was given the excuse that because the interior was cleaned, it was knocked down. Didn't know knocking down could cause this type of damage but ok. I could also beg to differ how much cleaning was actually done. There was terry cloth residue left all over the dash. The service agent offered to replace it with a generic air freshener, but the point is...be aware if you leave anything in your car whether it be hanging from the rear view mirror or on the dash. Your items may suffer the same fate as mine.

Newark Winn Volkswagen isn't friendly at all starting with the manager Josh Nguyen, he is rude, disrespectful, and if he can't get you to buy he will say "doesn't suit you" or "you can't afford it" I felt bad for Nate he lost a sale because of his rude manager.
If you're looking for a Winn Volkswagen and want the best costumer service EVER!!! I say go to Winn Volkswagen Marin in San Rafael. Yes, it's a further drive out but the experience and customer service is beyond amazing!!!! They will help you with everything and get you exactly what you want. We are happy with our new purchase that was NOT done in Newark. No one to talk you down or being negative.

Best Car Buying Experience Ever!!! Thanks to Mustafa the experience was great from when we walked into the dealership. Was very honest and showed us what we wanted, explained everything to us. Been to other dealerships where you can be there all day and this took lass than 3 hours. Highly recommend Mustafa if you're looking for great service!

It's been a week since I got my new car. The salesman Josh Browie was great! He was very knowledgable. He made my husband and I feel comfortable and not pressured. I knew what I wanted and he made it easy for us to take home the car we wanted. The whole team at Winn VW of Newark (salesman Josh, manager Albert, and Kyle in finance) were all very nice and appreciative for our continuous business with them ( I am a returning customer)! I love my new Tiguan!

I was at Winn VW to get an oil change for my 2017 VW CC on Monday, 1/6/23. It was my first time at the dealership. I primarily scheduled my service here because I had a doctor's appointment in the area afterward.
This feedback isn't so much for Doug Dalaney who was my service advisor. From start to finish, Doug was extremely polite, professional, and courteous. The feedback is primarily for the quality and level of service of the technician, Robert (as listed on my service order).
I arrived at the dealership at 11:15am for my 11:30am appointment. Doug walked out, greeted me, and asked what I was there for. I explained to him that I wanted to 1) get an oil change 2) requested him to install my front license plates as they had fallen off 3) not to wash the exterior of my car as I have ceramic coating and only to vacuum the interiors. Doug acknowledged and understood my requests.
I sat in the waiting area starting about 11:22am. There were no cars ahead of me. I recall seeing one woman who had brought her Tao in but she came after me and left before me. At about 12:40pm, I checked-in with Doug to see the status of my vehicle. He went and checked and informed me that my car should be ready in about 10 minutes. No problem.
My doctor's appointment was at 1pm, so I was already cutting close. Upon entering the vehicle, I noticed that the oil change sticker, which is placed on the top left corner of the windshield wasn't replaced. In the history of me being a car owner and getting oil changes, this is standard procedure, isn't it? I rushed inside and requested Doug for one, which he happily obliged and hand-wrote for me. Upon starting the car, I noticed that ALL four tires had different air pressure/PSI. Left front was at 35, right front was at 38, rear left was at 36 and rear right was at 41! REALLY? But at that point, I simply didn't have the time because I was already running late for my appointment.
Then I visually inspected to see if the car was vacuumed, and guess what? Robert decided to vacuum the front but not the back. Again, really? My request was fairly straightforward. No exterior car wash, just vacuum the interior and he couldn't even follow these simple instructions let alone get the tire pressures right? I went home and the next morning, when the tires were no longer warm, I checked again, same thing. All four tires have different PSIs.
This only makes me question the quality of the oil and oil filter used and Winn VW's overall quality of service.
These are basics! After having waited at the dealership for 1.5 hours and receiving my car in the condition I did, it was quite disappointing and frustrating, to say the least. I will never return to Winn VW for any of my oil changes let alone any other service needs. I will be writing a similar review to forwarn fellow VW customers of the same. My old car was reported totaled, and we were searching for a new SUV.
Kevin H. patiently helped us tremendously by taking us (my mom and I) on multiple test drives until we were comfortable with a SUV of our choosing.
A lot of transparency and support from the manager and team (Albe, Kyle, Josh, Kevin) throughout our experience. We ended up leasing 2023 SUV Tiguan and mom was real happy. The team is very genuine and handles with care haha Highly recommend Winn VW! 10/10 :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
