35716041398Oct 1, 2023Well, we were driving from Omaha to brookings and took a while. So we managed to find somewhere to pick up pizza and beer. This place is certainly better than your average pizza place. Thai peanut pizza had actual whole peanuts. We did thin crust and it was perfect. For beer, we had a lemon shanty and a dark mint malt. Lemon was good but malt too dark.

The pizza and beer were very good. The only downside is the acoustics of the space make it seem very loud

My husband and I split a Philly Hoagie and it was plenty for a quick lunch. There was a ton of roast beef, a nice sprinkling of chopped onions and green peppers and some mushrooms. I'm not a mushroom person but I didn't even notice them. So perfect in my book. It came with potato chips and a pickle. I enjoyed the Indubitably IPA and my husband had the Split Rock Pale Ale. Both were great. The place was clean, the staff super friendly and the bathrooms clean. We would definitely stop again!

We had 2 pizzas delivered to our Airbnb. Both pizzas were fresh and hot with lots of flavor. We loved their crispy thin crust.

They have a lot of crazy and unique pizza flavors too! We had a Thai peanut pizza which was great. We'll be back next time we're in town again!

WLB is one of my top places to frequent here in Brookings. Not only do they have great craft beer that rotates on the regular their pub fare is also really delicious. You pretty much cannot go wrong with any of their pizzas. Also, they frequently have comedians on the weekends and they are usually pretty solid if you are looking for something fun to do at night.

I have two kids so that is saying something! The pizza was amazing (one cheese and one sausage) and my wife loved her sandwich on house-made rye.
