We are a family-friendly restaurant that also provides extensive catering, take-out, and public & private party offerings. Our potato blanket omelets, chilaquiles, skirt steak, salads, and novelty pancakes are our specialties. However, all of our food is delicious, and our service is second to none.…

Great place for a yummy breakfast. The pancakes are great and fluffy. The Belgium waffles delivered the malty flavor that i was looking for. I also recommend their egg creations, skillets, and potato blanket omelette. This is a lot of food for a good price and delicious as well. The decor looks updated and the service is very friendly. If it's cold outside their hot chocolate will warm you up.

We've past by this place many times and never went in until today. I'm so glad we did! The place is super homey and nice. It was full, so that meant it was good. We ordered the Chilaquiles con salsa verde and Skirt steak skillet. To my surprise, Chilaquiles were great. Better than at any Mexican restaurant in the area! They took a little long but the salsa felt super fresh, so I'm sure it was prepared at the moment. Overall, the experience was a solid 5 stars, with the only suggestion of having almond/oat milk for the coffees. I was sad to miss having one of those. Will be back!

Sadly this restaurant closed in early November 2022. They did have great food and a lot of choices.

Always a good choice, never disappointed. They sent out an email that the restaurant has been sold and that they will be closing. They will be missed.

It was my first time here since the name changed, and I was anticipating that it would probably be a 3 or 4 star review.

But I was pleasantly surprised! The seating was updated since my last visit, and they have outdoor seating too.

Our waitress was excellent - very competent and friendly without being intrusive.

I had the gluten-free pancakes and they were EXCEPTIONAL! They were moist and full of flavor - a pleasant surprise. You can't go wrong with bacon and the bananas were ridiculous : ) See my pics below for more detail.

I will be back to try something else from their extensive breakfast menu. To be continued...

One of our new favorite brunch spots. They truly have something for everyone. The potato blanket omelets are uniquely amazing, the decadent pancakes are exploding with flavor and the service has been absolutely tremendous. We've been twice so far and we've tried skillets, omelets, pancakes, lattes and the country fried steak. Everything is full of flavor and truly unique. And they have many gluten free (pancakes and waffles!) and vegetarian options available. And as mentioned before, the service we've had during both our visits has been remarkable - very accommodating, informed, attentive and kind. This will likely be a brunch staple for us for a very long time.

What a disappointing visit. My mother, my sister and I meet for brunch every Sunday. Wynburg has always been consistently an easy yes, however after this Sunday it probably won't be.

We were sat near a very large group and had to ask to be moved - after that -I understand that short staff but the wait for drinks was 10+ min we knew what we wanted and still had to wait quite a while. The food out of fries - out of Swiss cheese and you have kids taking care of issues they are not equipped to.
Our table was un level we asked for a different table or for something to keep it from moving never got it - how disappointing and this was a place we thought we could count on

My family and I had a fantastic experience at this cafe. Everyone (staff and customers) wore masks and the restaurant has the space to socially distance, they were attentive, all the food came out at the same time in a timely manner and was outstanding. We had a large party to be accommodated for, and I am genuinely impressed.

I ordered the chicken breakfast burrito, swapped the potatoes for cauliflower and added a side of French toast. The French toast was the best I've had in a long time. Everything was delicious, fresh, hot and I'll have to go back.

When we arrived around 12:30 on a Saturday, there was a 20-minute wait along with a note at the counter warning that they are short-staffed. Most restaurants are, so we understood and joined the waitlist. Their estimate was accurate - we were seated after about 20 minutes and a friendly, young server brought us menus and took our drink orders. We ordered lunch, which comes with soup and fries. At that point, there were no utensils or napkins on the table. Our soup arrived with spoons, but we still had nothing else, so when our server returned to check on us, we asked for napkins. A few minutes later, he returned with exactly two napkins for the two of us. The soup was very good. Chicken noodle, and it tasted fresh and not at all salty, which I often find to be the case elsewhere. So, two thumbs up for the soup! A few minutes later, the rest of our food arrived. We both ordered the chicken avocado panini with fries. The sandwiches were good, and as pieces of filling slipped out, we noted again that we had no utensils. When our server returned again to check on us, my mom pointed out that we had no silverware and asked for a fork. He took that very literally. A few minutes later, he returned with one fork, which he set on the table between us. At this point, we were really laughing.

None of this was worth complaining about at the register, because everything was fine with the food and the server seemed like he wanted to do well, probably just needs a bit more training. I'll be back for the food and will be prepared to have a sense of humor about the service, especially during challenging staffing times.

It was our first time dining at WynBurg, and we were quite impressed with this cozy, friendly, delicious breakfast/brunch spot. Service and food was terrific, and everything was hygienic and clean. The patio area was comfortable, and all tables maintained proper distancing. Everything was super sanitary, and the staff was awesome.

My husband enjoyed his pork skillet, and my churro french toast (topped with fresh banana slices and a decadent glaze) was amazing. We look forward to our next visit!

Solid food, friendly service, clean outdoor dining. The churro french toast is a must!!
