We loved this authentic Japanese Ramen house. The food was fast and delicious. We went for lunch and enjoyed the lunch special. The atmosphere alone would keep us coming back when we visit S. D.
My partner had the miso and I had shoyu ramen. Both were tasty and the broth was just right.
Every day they have a different Ramen combo for the special, but for $2, you can substitute something else.
Check this place out. You won't be disappointed.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Roker P.San Diego, CA091Aug 28, 2019
This is a five stars Japanese restaurant. Well I gave 4 just because it is pricy, other than that this place is the bomb. Japanese bbq at its finest.

Hi Roker,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
The restaurant industry, in general, has suffered a multitude of increased costs such as labor, food, transportation, and rents over the past couple of years. We held out from passing these increases for a considerable time. but alas we finally decided in order to maintain top quality service and food, we have to pass these costs in order to maintain high standards. We would rather apologize one time for passing on increased costs than continuous poor quality and service.
Thank you for your understanding.

Personal fave: Asparagus wrapped with bacon and chicken hearts. Ramen: Shoyu
Came in around 5:45pm so not a lot of people were eating. And they just started serving yakitori around 5:30pm! We got seated at the bar and all the serves were really nice. They got our order right away. Btw, May 19-May 29, 2014 they have beers, sake and other drinks half off. So we got Sapporo for only $2 good deal!!
This is really the spot to hit for ramen and yakitori. Best one yet in San Diego!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Holly P.San Diego, CA349110138Feb 16, 2016
Came here fairly close to closing but they still welcomed us. They were so friendly and accommodating . They were very fast and on point with their work . There is plenty of staff to make your visit great . Our chef I think his name was moon was extremely lively, handsome and nice. He made sure we were satisfied and were given an unexpected dessert . That's definitely a nice treat . If you guys so happen to be in the area you should stop by ! I'm sure they're make your visit wonderful ! We got a pitcher for 13$ and a few skewers ranging from 3$-7.50$ . I definitely will be coming back ! I hope they staff is well acknowledged for their great customer service

Honestly honestly love the ramen here. Only place I trust to get some ramen (all others are just way too salty!) My fav is the spicy tonkotsu. Pro tip: their coconut ice cream dessert is sooo good (and I don't even like coconut)

Great, fresh noodles. Broth is tasty. Reminds me of eating in Japan. I haven't had the Yakitori yet because the dinner wait is so long. Get there early, and don't have anymore than 2 people in your group. Minus 1 star for the wait.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon and we got seated before a line started with people waiting for 20-30mins. Since the Yelp reviews were positive and given the amount of people waiting; we were expecting a great meal. However, I would say it was average. We had the lunch specials which give a lot of food, but the quality was just okay.
