It seems like a cool hangout spot too. I found a group of folks sitting Indian-style around a rug and chatting when I first came in. :)

I've been a rug lover and part-time collector of original hand-made carpets for close to 20 years now and I can honestly saying that shopping at Yoruk Rug Gallery with the owner Mete has been the most enjoyable of any of the places I've been. If you are looking for a rug that will last forever and you won't see at your neighbors house this is the place. Owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about antique rugs, but without the pretension you get at the Evanston rug stores. These are investment pieces and will cost more than Ikea, but not as much as you think.
