Saw Dr. Cho today for the first time. Extremely considerate, knowledgeable and really made me feel like my vocal issues were a priority. I've been seeing doctors who just don't understand SINGERS, but she really gets it and will make you feel heard. I'm so glad I was told about her office, because she is going to be my go-to ENT in NYC.
Her front desk staff was very kind and personable. Additionally, I'm a weird night owl and left a voicemail at the office at 2 am on a Saturday morning and got a call on Sunday to schedule an appointment to come in! I was very surprised and thankful for this prompt communication.
Thank you, Dr. Cho for helping me today and understanding singers like you do. Thankful to put my vocal cords in your hands!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Marina P.Singapore, Singapore287459Jan 5, 2017
Dr.Cho is one of the most trusted Specialists by the Met singers and voice professionals. Her knowledge is as great as her humble kind attention to every patient.
Office is cosy clean and classy space, where sometimes we wait with respect for other patients who needs more immediate help,
but the waiting time is not unusual or different from any other doctors office. At the end what matters is the highest professional quality and knowledge that Dr.Cho so kindly shares with her every patient.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mikayla S.Manhattan, NY1184Apr 8, 2018
Dr. Cho is the best ENT in the business, hands down. I trust her completely. She's especially knowledgeable about opera singers and getting through gigs when you're sick.

I recommend her as an ENT.
She is very professional and straight to the point.
Her office does get busy at times and she sees alot of patients.
So book early in the day (1st appointment of the day) if possible.
Jessica (her secretary) is extremely helpful.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cassie M.Washington, DC0193Jun 30, 2015
Dr. Cho is great! Very professional and personal. She answers all the questions- both petty and big-- that you might have. I also appreciated Dr. Cho being super thorough and making me feel like I'm being well accounted for...... That is, when I'm actually there.
I blame this partially to the front desk. They're great at scheduling the appt for you, but impossible to get hold of Dr. Cho through them when you want to follow up on the lab results or things like that. It took me weeks to hear about my lab results, and needless to say, I was anxious throughout that time. No way I'm paying $$$ (specialty fee) just to drop in and hear about my lab results! It's also a pain to deal with the back-and-forth business of me calling them, Dr. cho not being available, me leaving a message with the front desk, not hear back for days, me calling the office again and leaving a message.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cornelia R.Manhattan, NY03May 30, 2016
I've been seeing Dr. Cho for years. She treated my late husband and Mom as well. She's gentle in her treatment, and personally warm and very interactive which is not always the case with physicians which I unfortunately have had many experiences.
I agree the only problem is the wait time. It's a very small office and a busy practice. Often despite your appointment you may feel very frustrated as you keep checking your watch. Despite that, I wouldn't go anywhere else.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Karen O.VA, VA7296Apr 18, 2012
I went to see Dr. Cho a month ago based on the referral of my primary care physician. After waiting a full HOUR in a crowded, hot waiting room, Dr. Cho finally saw me. The referring physician said that Dr. Cho would be able to take care of my problem in the office. Dr. Cho informed me that I would need EXPENSIVE surgery to fix the issue. She did not take the time to seriously inform me of any other option that would fix the problem.
Her staff was rude. When I called for more information on the surgery, the receptionist completely cut me off and was exceedingly disrespectful. When I had questions for Dr. Cho, I was informed that she doesn't even check her messages until the very end of the day so if there is anything urgent that comes up, she won't bother getting back to you until late in the evening or the next day.
I felt pressured into doing the surgery and sought out a second opinion. THANK GOD! The other ENT actually explained what was going on with my health. He took the time to explain not one, but three treatment options, including letting the problem lie for a month to see how it progressed. Thank goodness I decided to wait because the problem went away on its own within a month.
Dr. Cho was going to cost me over $4,000 in medical fees for an issue that resolves on its own without intervention. I will never, ever, go to her again, nor do I recommend her at all.
Never again!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anna K.Missoula, MT021Jan 20, 2020
Dr. Cho is a fantastic doctor! She solved a chronic health issue no other doctor had been able to figure out (and I've seen many!) Her office is very quick and I feel they are respectful of my time. They work around my schedule and are always able to find an appointment time for me, and I've never had to wait an excessive amount of time to be seen once I'm there. Dr. Cho is very kind, and remembers lots of small details about my life. I get very nervous at the doctor, and she is always willing to explain things to me and answer all my questions. She also is very reasonable and measured, more than once she has saved me from going through with unnecessary and/ or expensive medical recommendations that other doctors have suggested for my chronic ear infections. I am so grateful to her!!

Dr. Young is great! ...if you want unnecessary procedures and outrageous billing of said procedures.
Went in for some answers on reflux issues I was having. She looked in my ears and commented that there was some wax in there, and offered to remove it. For this 90 seconds of unnecessary work, the charge was $380.70. They paid the only-less-insane-by-comparison amount of $200, of which a portion was passed to me. This happened on two different office visits in a calendar month. I got the bill for all of it at once. I called to dispute that I had no idea this would be charged (after all, I can do the same procedure at home with water and hydrogen peroxide in less than 5 minutes), and she refused to budge, stating that she had nothing to do with the charge. She offered to discount the amount if it was a hardship. My insurance company won't budge, obviously.
Seriously, go see Dr. Cho. ...if you love dealing with doctors that will casually offer to run your bill up unnecessarily.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mythili I.Manhattan, NY13514Sep 27, 2013
Got a late appointment (6:45pm, showed up closer to 6:50) on a Thursday for a nose cauterization. Having gotten it done multiple times before, I know it's a simple, in-office procedure.
The waiting area and office was empty when I got there, and Dr. Cho saw me immediately after I'd filled out the requisite paperwork. She asked me what was wrong, confirmed what I needed, and finished in less than 5 minutes. She pointed out that I had a deviated septum but noted that in the absence of adverse symptoms there was no need to do anything.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
