Ziggy Dogs

Post-shopping visit with my mom. She'd heard about the food here, and I was craving a hot dog (my favorite West Kinston spot is closed for the holidays). I got a Queen Street (yummy) and mom just had a regular. She's a tough critic, but she loved it and made sure we left a good review!! Now we have a new favorite spot.

Good food at a value price. I tried the hot dog itself with ketchup and mustard. For what it was it was decent for the price especially in the city of Kinston. The Smoked Sausage was good surprise, nice flavors and fulfilling. The onions didnt add much to the experience but they gave a nice crunch for added texture. The Nachos were the weakest part of the meal while definitely looking the part the cheese lacked a depth of flavor and consistency you would want out of this guilty pleasure.

Overall the price is what makes this a four star establishment. The focus on takeout may leave a lot desired in ambience and atmosphere but the food is good and offers a ton of value if you just want a hot dog or are looking for another fast food spot for lunch.

I got the bratwurst and my daughter got a baked potato and everything was awesome. It's easy to miss when you're driving by but it's worth looking for.

I've never really gotten this excited over a hot dog before but WOW. The flavors are on point and the prices are right. There's so much more than hot dogs to choose from and you can customize your order however you want. You will never get bored with this menu. The owner Ziggy is super friendly and has the kindest smile. Definitely will be going back again soon!

This is not just a hot dog stand but what's going to be one of my snack spots in Kinston. I had the chicken quesadilla and had to share that experience with others so i ordered some for our holiday gathering. Everyone enjoyed the steak and chicken quesadillas I brought from Ziggy Doggs.

I give him an A for effort! But that ideas the worst hotdog I ever tasted! Tasted like food poison on a bun! Nasty food goes perfect with nasty attitude! Should have none when there was only one customer out at lunch time . No gloves when preparing food and hot dogs in hot dog water in a container with no visible date on it and cooks slaw not cold! I should have just walked out but next time in another like restaurant, I will turn and get out of that food poison den! I threw up after one bite and ewwwwww youccccck And needs to work on customer service skills!!!!! Please think twice before you risk your health?!!!!

A fantastic hot dog (Ziggy dog) find! The owner treats his customers with great service and entertaining experience. Next time I go I will try the cheesesteak sub!

Good priced, great flavors! Very friendly and hospitable, and even offers Ice cream and other treats for kids. If you don't mind a small wait (10-12 minutes tops), then please come here and eat!!!
