We WERE excited to buy 2 bikes. The excitement was eventually extinguished after 10 minutes to pay for the bikes, having to wait 2 hours to have the bikes "reviewed," another 20 minutes to wait in a line to pick up the bikes, 15 minutes longer to wait in line for the bikes that weren't ready as promised, and another 10 minutes to stand in the first line to show that we had paid for the bikes and to have a security tag removed. For €2000 euros you too can also have this awful experience. The upside is the long wait in line gave me time to write this review.

Large shop and good prices and so on, but... Been here today. Wanted to try 3-4 road bikes. I asked one of the staff to adjust the saddle a bit lower (I have shorter than average inseam). After some unnecessary wording he complied, but not as low as I asked him to. I said fine, but then he proceeded to remove spacers from the handlebars (stem). I'm not really flexible, I prefer a higher bar than average. He told me to try it, and when I started to mount the bike, he agressively rocked the bar left and right, and told me he was not ready yet. And I walked away.
The staff both at August-LIndemann-Str. and Königin-Elisabeth-Str. want to sell you the bike they want to sell, rather than the bike you want to buy. I always appreciate good advice, but if I want to try a slightly oversize/undersize bike, I should be able to try it. According to the staff you should use road bikes only for racing. A more upright position is unthinkable and unacceptable for them. I shudder to think what would have happened had I wanted to try a women's bike.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
