We are Zandri & Kevin of Zandri du Preez Photography, an award-winning wedding photography team based in Strand, Cape Town.

We met on Strand beach, fell in love, and started our business together. We have been photographing weddings in Cape Town since 2012. During that time, we've created lasting relationships with many of our clients and continue to photograph special events in their lives (e.g. maternity, family, friends' weddings, etc). It's great to part of so many special moments! 

Our style of photography is primarily a documentary style, capturing the day as it unfolds. For example, when one of us is taking photos of the couple during the ceremony, the other is taking photos of the guests' reactions.

When necessary, we use our experience to guide people in order to get nice shots - but still finding those natural moments. Our approach is to be spontaneous and to have fun. And if you look through our photos here or on Instagram and Facebook, you will see how natural it looks. Read our reviews on Facebook or Google and you will see that the most common feedback from our clients is how comfortable we made them feel - and it shows in the photos; They look relaxed and happy, having a great time.

Most weddings we do are in the Western Cape but we are open to requests as we love to travel to new places.

How to get great wedding photographs? 

​

First of all, doing an engagement photoshoot is great practise for the wedding as it gets you comfortable with having your photos taken. So, when the wedding comes around, you will be much more relaxed.

​

When you book us for your wedding, we’ll have a meeting with you to find out what you want, 
offer some advice to help make things run smoothly and assist you in creating your timeline for the wedding day.

Working as a team of two photographers allows us to capture all the guests’ reactions and natural moments
as they happen. And our experience allows us to guide people to help them relax and enjoy themselves in front of the camera.

The mix of emotions you have leading up to a wedding is normal and you should try to embrace them so that you can enjoy the day to the fullest.
