This was the first place I ever knew as a child to have candy I could buy and so it will always hold tremendous sentimental value to me. I've always come to hurd's for everything I need before heading out of town. There prices for most everything are as cheap as any grocery store. I never talk much but I once asked Jake if he had packs of Oreo's and he looked almost disappointed to tell me he didn't. Somehow ever since, I've been able to buy large packs of Oreo's there. Once asked for lighter fluid for charcoal, he had none but brought us his own before we could pull out of the parking lot. It broke all our hearts to see it burn, but it came right back like a phoenix. Hurd's is legendary and Jake is a Jedi.
